  1. Should be going to West Ham!
  2. We don’t need a manager we need a wizard to transform this lot. I honestly don’t know what’s been going on behind the scenes? The only thing that helps me remain optimistic about us staying up is the quality of some of the other sides in the championship this season.
  3. If he’s gone by Christmas then we’ll be down by the end of the season. He’s inherited a mess of a side.
  4. I haven’t got a clue how much money he’s on but I should imagine he earns more in a fortnight the most on here earn in a year. Nice money if you can get it!
  5. Unforgettable song and performance.
  6. Pity he did enjoy scoring a few more for us! I’ll always remember him for putting the ball over the bar at Derby when it was easier to score.
  7. Consistency is the key. The league is full of players who can have a good game now and then, the best do it week in week out. let’s hope he can start scoring on a regular basis.
  8. Can remember him having a physical battle with Tammy Abraham during the game at Ashton Gate a couple of seasons ago. A cracking contest and I thought Tammy handled him quite well for a young lad. Hope he gets better soon?
  9. Played for Pompey as well.
  10. Absolutely, wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Hardly anyone there as well. The two lead singer linked arms at the end and sang “ I’m tired and I want to go home” and as they left the stage turned around and waved to the audience. Pure class! Those were the days, they don’t do it like that anymore!
  11. Nice girl, she once offered to buy me a pint in the Crown on Stapleton Rd. The Vice Squad used to pop in there on a weekend.
  12. Barton Hill youth club was my hang out but didn’t see the Banshees there. Did have a ticket to see the Pistols at the Bamboo club but it Burned down, absolutely gutted. One group I’m glad I saw, was a bit later, the Virgin Prunes at Trinity. Took my Mrs to see them when we were courting. She still wonders what she witnessed even now.
  13. Paspatou by Parra for Cuva. Is an unusual song but very good. Something like the Cocteau Twins.
  14. Whatever he’s got is enough to get a panic on though. Watch this take off, I don’t think we’ve got a clue on how this is going to pan out?
  15. I think that was Humphrey’s?
  16. Think his name was Tim? He drew the plans up for the kitchen extension on my first house. Haven’t seen him for many years. Hope he’s okay.
  17. I was there as well. Used to get about a bit back in the day.
  18. Martin Blyth an Easton boy. He was bit younger than me, must have been about 21 when he died of lung cancer. A nice lad and a good friend of the family. quite a few of our lot are sadly gone now. So sad!!!
  19. Went up there with a van load of lads from around our way. (Barton Hill) Strangest thing that happened was being sat in the stand before the game and when the players ran out everyone followed them on to the pitch and ran straight across to where the Reading fans were. fond memories partly because the young lad who drove us there had cancer and died not long after
