I questioned him last Saturday so tip my hat to him this weekend, a cracking win and safety guaranteed.
Last Saturday was a poor game but nearly every game was during the last two years of Johnson’s time in charge.
Perhaps next season will be much better?- 3

True, the guy throwing the head butt from 10ft was funny though
Looked like he spat at them to me.

One of those guys I would love to have a pint or two with. Whether you like him or not he’s been a pretty successful as a manager and I’m sure we’ll see him on the TV now and again.
Wish him well for the future -

Not easy viewing by any means but Netflix have dropped a compelling jimmy savile documentary showing how he was able to hide in plain sight
Obviously it’s different watching it with the benefit of hindsight but it seems amazing how creepy the man was whilst on tv and being interviewed and seeming to imply things about his behaviour and yet people amusing he was joking and laughed.
I’ve seen comments on twitter from those watching from overseas asking how people didn’t realise and that’s the fascinating part as it’s almost as if he groomed the nation including those at the top of the British establishment
Definitely worth a watch
Amazing how he was lauded by many.

Personally didn’t think he was quite as bad yesterday as NP and lots of others did. If nothing else looks like the first CB for a while who when he heads the ball, at least considers the concept of trying to head it to a team mate rather than just winning the ball.
Me and my mate thought that he might be unwell because he was so poor? No surprise he didn’t come out second half.

i’d keep them both but would be doing everything to get rid of Klose, Baker, Vyner and Kalas to bring in some experienced leaders NP would want.Having watched Cundy yesterday I’d let the bloke go. Absolutely shocking performance and there’s no way he’s championship standard.

Lets get Phil Brown out of Barrow.
He took a team up into the Premiership years ago after all.
And he scored against City at Ashton Gate.

Pearson is hopefully staying and if we can get a three or four in through the summer I think we’ll be okay next season.
Nige wanted a project and he’s certainly got one.

Lansdown has helped to create the mess we are in by giving Johnson endless amounts to spend and picking an endless supply of sub standard managers. But fair play he bails us out of the mess he has caused by poor stewardship. And after years of his reign, we have ended up in the state we are in now, some legacy.
Must admit Johnson waste a lot of Landsdowns money. I expect Steve got a bit excited when Johnson said we’d be playing European football within five years.

How many other clubs are in such a shite state as us. Many have not mismanaged as poorly as us for such a long period and will surely be able to spend something.
Debt is a massive problem in football and most teams don’t make ends meet. Good job we’ve got Landsdown.
-
If we’re not spending then I don’t expect many other clubs will be either.

Didn’t Trevor Cherry swap shirts with Maradonna at the end of the game?

I will always remember him scoring against Hull from a drop kick. Good keeper was Cashley.

I remember that game 3-1? To Swansea. They also had Tommy Hutchinson on the left wing he was about 42. He ran Andy Lou ragged.
Yeah, Hutchinson looked like Wurzel Gummidge with his long hair and big nose. He made it all look really easy and didn’t break into a sweat.

Good player for us but the thing I remember most about him was a game v Swansea at home. John Solako was playing for them, he was on loan from Palace. Solako absolutely destroyed our defence that day and Bailey was marking him.
-
Good player in his day. Saw him score a cracking header against us at Ashton Gate. Think he was playing for someone like Brentford at the time?

I'm a bit surprised that nobody has said ' Wherever he goes, I will drive him there myself'
As long as he pays for the petrol I might?

Found his level at 21 did he?
Seems that way to me. I’ve not seen anything from him in all the time he’s been here to suggest he was worth having a punt on. He won’t stick long in my memory once he’s gone.
Mind you, he is an international -

Ok nobody is denying what he did with Leicester isn’t a big big tick. But you wouldn’t appoint Holloway purely on him taking Blackpool up playing some very very good football. I struggle to see what else he has done to prove he is the man? I am not trying to be argumentative i just can’t see it from his record. I have struggled from day one to see it, so would probably be chucked in the “pearson out” category. I want nothing more than to sign the next vardy/kante/mahrez but we have f all money so can’t see him being able to do it.
And who on earth is going to get more out of the players we’ve got? Yesterday was a good example of what Pearson has achieved with next to nothing.
Those players deserved a pat on the back!- 1

And Burnley scored not long after and have also missed a penalty.
