Really enjoyed the game today and thought we played well. There’s not a manager in the country who could have got any more from the players available. Shame about conceding late on though.

Perhaps without the pace of Vardy, which is why Vardy is good.
Or the goal scoring ability!

Controversially I thought Cundy looked somewhat asleep then too, plus he hesitated second half when the ball was played down the side of him, hence my comment about a greater sample size than 90 minutes before I start thinking we have the new Shaun Taylor/ Jamie McCombe..
The football league is full of players that can have a good game, doing it constantly, every game is what sorts out the good from the bad.

Only last weekend someone was saying we can still make the playoffs.

I always liked watching Tony Daley. Pace, could turn defenders inside out and scored some great goals. Would love to see someone like that at city, someone that got you out of your seat when they got the ball.
Exactly what I thought ODowda was going to do when he signed!

Not gifted, he is a gangster of the highest order. Nothing to to with skill and hard work.
If it only took hard work and endeavour to become rich then every woman in Africa would be a millionaire.
Landed Gentry in this country didn't "earn" their wealth and lands , they took it, surrounded themselves with paid sycophants and enforced their will with violence.
Just in this country? Things like that have always gone on and in every corner of the earth.
As long as there are extremely wealthy people there’ll always be a string of people willing to kiss their backsides. -

I think that's a very naïve explanation of how he went from market stallholder and jailbird to billionaire in two years.
Obviously the blokes gifted at making money.

I disagree. Bake it in the oven at 250 degrees C for one hour twenty minutes. Leave to cool for twenty four hours. Apply one coat of yacht varnish, diluted with turps at 50%, followed by another three undiluted coats with a minimum of four hours between coats. Leave for twenty four hours. At this point bring out the pledge and polish to your hearts content.
That might work with one of your turds but not mine. My guts are playing up at the moment and you definitely couldn’t polish what I turn out on a morning.

Doesn't sound too clever to me, but anyone given it a go?
Sounds like a sweet mess of a drink and is just a few steps away from being a Strongbow Dark Fruits effort.
I think I’ll pop in the Red lion on Whitehall Rd later and give it a go.

Yeah it's insane.
A Chelsea player earning £100,000 per WEEK would take around 300 years to earn that much. It's just totally unimaginable sums of money!
Yes it is a load of money, he must be worth as much as one of Putins biggest backers, the Russian Orthodox Church. They’re a registered charity in this country so can claim tax back on donations………Nice!

Vyner isn’t a bad player but always seems to have a mistake in him. I think he maybe gone next season?

He is doing ok but only play with one foot makes it often difficault.
He’s doing okay? I thought he was really good and Coventry’s players couldn’t handle him. Hopefully he can keep it up.

I always thought Semenyo would become a striker with us. Maybe Pearson did too..but I get the feeling Pearson didn't plan to play Semenyo down the middle this season.
Pearson did want to bring in a new striker. And I think we will see a new one next season even if we keep Semenyo.
Michael Smith might be a sensible transfer on a free. Obviously depending on if we can move Wells on.
I’m really looking forward to what’s going to happen during the summer and on into next season. From my point of view the future is looking bright

I would love to see the total running stats for all players in the division. He surely has to be up there. I really hope for him personally, he gets his 20 this season.
Says a lot about Pearson as a manager. We all thought we needed a striker, we’ve got 3 pretty good ones now and look at Semenyo. If he carries on like he has what’s he going to be worth?

20148, well tickets sold anyway, decent attendance all things considered. 8th best average in the Championship, credit to the 1800 Boro who made the long journey in the weather conditions. Two things stood out for me yesterday the crowd getting behind the team when we conceded our obligatory 90th min goal and the amount of smiling faces at the end. AG is becoming a pleasure to visit again rather than a chore.
You can’t beat coming out of Ashton Gate after a win to the sound of a Wurzels song. You know the rest of the weekend is going to be good.

Callum O’Dowda - what a bargain?

Apparently he was really good in league 1. Perhaps that’s his level because I can’t imagine a string of championship clubs queuing up to spend serious money on him.
