I can take losses, relegations, defeats etc. When I come to places like this all I ask is they have a go and give their best. Everyone of those 10 men chased every ball tonight. To see Frank Fielding booed every time he took a kick. To see their forward run after the ball in front of their kop to place the ball down for a goal kick. Then watched Fielding pick the ball up and stroll over to the other side of the goal to take it with huge abuse behind him. They hated Fielding tonight and he didn't care. They all ran their socks off tonight. Bloody awesome. That's all I ever ask boys. Just have a go.

Never stayed in his technical area once. Ran over to get the ball in the last mins from our bench and moaned that we were taking too long for the throw. Ref pointed out Baldock was coming off for a substitution.....

Well what can I say. We were far the better side first 20 mins. Even looked like getting a 3rd and Baldock was proving a handful. Peterborough were awful. I followed the ball but then saw their player lying on the floor holding his face. As soon as I saw the linesman waving his flag I knew we were in trouble. Down to ten men it's been impressive. Cotterill has put them as two banks of four and were giving up the middle just staying solid. Jet is the lone striker on the centre circle. The tackles have been strong. Osbourne had marshalled him, Williams, Moloney and Wagstaff well. The two midfield boys are coming out of the bank and closing the middle runners this time. It's hard though. This guy is a classic home towner. He is giving them everything, we really need to be careful, they are looking for a pen and he is liable to give it. Work to do this half but this is a solid performance with City players chasing everything and running and tackling for everything. They deserve applauding off in 45 min no matter what happens. Good goal by them but v annoying to concede when we did.

I don't know on that second goal. I know Flint and Williams were staring at him but he had two men to mark. He had to leave his to get across to the bye line to charge down the cross he didn't get to. Who was skinned before that? Was it Elliott? It was a poor goal to concede but can you lay it at El Abd door? I do agree he gave away some idiotic fouls for pushes in the back that invited pressure.
