  1. I don't think so. It's opposite end to us but from what could see it wasn't his fault. He just had loads of time. Struck it well and in the far corner.
  2. Ok the defending probably looks better from the radio then. From actually seeing it, we let him pick his spot.
  3. He shouldn't have been given chance. Nobody came out of the line to close him down. He had ages.
  4. You couldn't make this up. Put Shrewsbury Town FC in the iphone. Happily sat in a pub what I thought was 5 mins from the ground.... One local "mate you realize you're nowhere near the fking ground..,,," Was next to Gay Meadow!! Started on the 30 min walk. Police come by "get in boys, you'll be ages" Police dropped us outside the ground. Car is fking miles away though!!
  5. Btw, if they win their 2 games in hand. Sheffield Utd will be 1 place outside the play offs.....
  6. To be fair did you ever make sense of Brian Clough? However my old man said the best footballing sides he ever saw down at AG were his teams. Interviews are overrated.
  7. Better than it was but its still overflowing up here.
  8. I went for a walk along the Thames just hoping we hung on. I couldn't listen anymore
  9. He took us down. He left us halfway through the following season rooted to the foot of a terrible division of tinpot clubs. He brought us some of the worst style of football I have seen. How much more needed to class him a failure? Wait til he took us down again? He had certainly lost me by the end.
  10. This will be the same O'Driscoll that took us down without so much of a whimper and I myself read posts from opposition fans stating we were clearly the worst team in the division - which we were. Then he took us down to the bottom of league 1. Sorry I don't care what other fans say - I can think of games at AG where we were utter sh*t under O'Driscoll and the result was no better.
  11. You do realise where we were in the table when we sacked him right??? And had been all season too. The season after he took us down without a whimper . His record no matter how you paint it, was frankly appalling.
  12. Now that is a statement where thousands of people would disagree.
  13. That game summed up to me how bad things had got under that last idiot. Hoofball and possibly the worst game of football seen in years. It was dire a long time before that ruddy great donkey hacked another into his own net. O'Driscoll and passing football ? Anyone ever thinks that should be made to watch that game.
  14. Agree. Some of the comments are absurd criticising him. He said exactly what I wanted. Can't help think a lot come from people who have been against him since his first day in the job.
  15. You haven't exactly given the bloke much of a chance in anything since he arrived have you??
  16. A 0-3 loss? After he put in hard work on the training ground?? Why would he? Apparently they did nothing they trained on this week. I blame the players here.
  17. I listened to the interview and it didn't really annoy or offend me at all. Now had he come on, said we were unlucky, the players tried or that it was the refs fault I would have been pissed off. He didn't. He was annoyed and said the players were awful and we've got to work much harder. I thought it was honest and exactly what I'd expect. It was fine as interviews after shite performances go.
  18. I don't understand why people or us fans would be pissed off though on this one? He is saying we were abysmal, he is saying the players let him down - they did, he is saying the fans were superb and were let down - they were. I thought the interview was of a pissed off manager who thought his team were appalling and let him and us down. Which to me is honest and bang on the money??
  19. I have always thought we'll stay up and I always thought we'd get nothing here. Nothing's changed for me. The world has not caved in yet.
