I'm sure I've read that Mellor gave up on Chelsea and spent some time watching QPR before returning to Chelsea; even writing some programme notes.
The "running in wearing a Chelsea shirt" story wasn't true (any more than was "Freddie Starr ate my Hamster") and was actually invented, or rather transferred, by Max Clifford; there was previously another woman for whom he was trying to sell the story of another well known person running into the room dressed only in an Everton shirt but he couldn't gain any press interest for that one. So when Antonia de Sancha came to him wanting to sell her Mellor story he saw a great chance to recycle that old story.
Who was the Everton fan? Well it wasn't Robert Lindsay. Or Michael Palin for that matter.

If they are successful in terminating their contracts with the change of ownership then there is less value in the business to warrant a buyer shelling out the cash, and no potential income by selling them to rebuild the squad.
This is possibly the straw that breaks the camels back and forces liquidation.

Mel chose this bunch of Administrators and he's been pulling the strings. It's been obvious that he did'nt want Mike Ashley and now it's all balls up. The transfer window is now open, rumours are the current contracted players have'nt been paid for June. Agents for the ones out of contract will be seeking other clubs for them. Other rumour I've heard that so far these clowns have taken £8m in wages from the Rams, no wonder why they were pushing sales through on players to line their pockets. They won't get another job with any other stricken club after their balls up at Derby
taken from
Derby site

Land isn't worth that much.
Lest not forget MSD get first dibs on £20m+, MM would have to clear the site then gain permission for whatever it is he's thinking of replacing the stadium with. I don't imagine the local authority would be keen to associate themselves with whatever might replace Pride Park......
So Mike Ashley don’t want Derby
he wants the land to build a sport Direct warehouse all makes sense now

Why should Middlesbrough and Wycombe drop their clams Derby have lied and cheated also not paying taxes
why should they get a way with it
I do feel sorry for the Derby fans
but I also feel for Middlesbrough and Wycombe look what they lost
Many companies and people lost jobs because of the pandemic that’s what the mps should be looking out for not a badly run football club

I realistically am far too busy to go anyway but the price put me off too, my man utd season ticket holding family told me that for ST holders they don’t pay more than the pro-rata price for any other domestic game for cup games, or at least not early round ones anyway. If that was the case maybe I’d be going but alas it looks like it’s going to be pretty empty
The difference is you have to buy a ticket even if your not going
part of the season ticket rules

Fulham would have to agree to lower the entry fee to ten pounds

If it was a normal club with a multi million pound owner that would be the obvious plan. I’m sure it’s all about money. Rovers will get a small portion of the fruit market site and build a small stadium. The cost of the small stadium will be less than the money received for the memorial ground, so Wael makes a profit and recoups some of his losses
As the rearranged match will be midweek, not many will travel so only a mini bus or two will be needed
Just because it’s reported about the fruit market it’s not going to happen same as the uwe ,Avonmouth and yTl land it’s all smoke and mirrors
of course they have to keep sprouting off about getting a new stadium just to keep the fans happy
