This got me thinking that we must have multiple players who were not born the last time we were in the same division as them?

    It's anyone born after 3 April 2001.

So anyone younger than 22 years, 10 months and 10 days.

Looking at transfermarkt this is: Bajic, TGH, Roberts, Bell, Conway, Benarous, and Mebude.

There are others like Idehen, Murphy, Taylor-Clarke, and Knight-Lebel who are on our books but aren't really in "the squad".

Mehmeti and Knight could have watched it, but would have been 3 and 2 months old respectively.

Another few years and we'll be quite capable of fielding an entire starting XI who have never witnessed a Bristol derby in the league.

Yet they’ve got pasties which are older than Matty James.

    Doobie doobie doo

    All day long 🙂

I can’t understand why it’s no longer sung at AG. I’ve not heard it for years. It’s unique to City, has no words and thus, everyone can join in.

What they need is a retired decorator just wanting to keep his hand in. He`d have that sorted in no time.

Apparently, they did bring in a retired decorator who offered to “paper over the cracks” in the corporate toilets but he was quickly arrested shortly after starting work. ;)

Few on their closed shop little forum are creaming themselves for the visit of Derby as they will bring a few thousand and get the attendance into five figures.

Comes to something when they have to rely on the away supporters to get a decent attendance.

    Tin pot.

Better put those pasties in now on a high heat.

He didn't know that at half time, though

… and neither did you or I. Had LM made no change and as a result, we’d drawn or lost, you’d have been the first to complain (actually probably the second, after the WSM fella). He made changes, we won.

We should all be happy tonight - unless, of course, it doesn’t suit our agenda to be happy with LM?

Spot on. They created 2 good chances I would say and scored a lucky goal. The context of the game needs to be remembered. Wednesday would have been shattering

I think that LM would also be looking to conserve energy for Tuesday’s match against the divisions form team. Three games in seven days. :noexp:

    He’s not bitter or jealous….

You will no doubt find this hard to understand BUT i am not jealous of your club and do not cast envious eyes across the City, the fans there are your typical 'poor' little rich kids, have everything but still not happy , your post sums it up' my so and so is bigger /better than your so and so,nah, nah,na,na na ! Pathetic,! you will never understand this but our season in the 5th tier was rewarding and enlightening, the dedication of the fans there was extraordinary! you will never understand it. you actual went bankrupt and ruined peoples lives , players included, ashamed .not you lot you hold a celebration to commemorate the event!! I am very happy with our new stand thank you, our Girls are rising through the ranks without any help from a big PR machine, we have a very decent training ground and facilities, yes you do well with transfers but that should tell you something, i.e. all your best players leave, there is a reason for that , any idea what? clutching at straws ,not me mate, you have your culture we have ours , you are welcome to yours, i will stick with ours if you don't mind.

F’ck me, I’m a poor little rich kid. Who knew? Not me obviously. Nor my wife, kids or bank manager.

Btw I suppose he knows that all of their best players are loans and is happy about that?

Never saw much of Akinbiyi, but I gather he was a little more of a target man/centre forward than we've seen of Mebude so far - more about hold up play and physicality, while Mebude seems to be more a dribbler.

Only from viewing his YouTube videos, Dire puts me more in mind of Yannick Bolasie than Ade Akinbiyi - tall, well built, very fast. I guess we’ll see for ourselves soon enough.
