All subjective really.
I'd say the best points have possibly been higher than some of those under NP...The worst when bad really bad. Norwich, Millwall and Blackburn games plus the last half hour Saturday all spring to mind.
Hopefully the change will pay dividends.
But when you look at both Middlesbrough games, Hull, Watford away, Forest, West Ham, Southampton even Coventry away all much better than the start of the season, where I can only think of Plymouth and at a pinch Swansea away

I suppose the Cup run is a differentiating factor and Manning is preferential to Beale but the cold hard facts are thema cold hard facts, are they not?
I much prefer to look towards the future and where the club is going. Yes there have been disappointing games under Manning but I've enjoy more games under Manning this season than under Pearson

I watched the sky replay today and they kept saying a lot of players were slipping on it

It's just the people in charge do as they want. Typical City

If the news only came out today someone got the posters printed quickly

Looks like we're going to extra time, hopefully this doesn't turn out like Leeds vs Plymouth yesterday
What, with the away side winning 4-1?

Then why make the change.
Or why make the change at that point..feels a tad disruptive and needlessly so.
because Roberts hasn't played for almost 4 months

Out come the Bristol City are little brigade yet again
I'm not having any of it
Being the biggest historical underachievers in the country is no reason at all to continue to be the biggest underachievers.
We have a modern stadium, a decent upper Champ level training ground, fantastic crowds given our underachievement that are usually top third in this division, play in a great and rich city.
There is NO reason whatsoever to see lower midtable Champ as the best it can get for us. We should never be in danger of relegation from this league.
Anything other than play off pushes is again, underachievement.
You wouldn't see this nonsense of sub par expectations at other clubs with far less fans.
We are not in danger of relegation and its difficult (not impossible) to compete with in a league with teams who have parachute payments

And scores today. Maybe we should have played him in his best position - As a striker.
it was Pearson who wouldn't play him there

So what's your problem with them for now then? I think this season was always going to be their last regardless who was in charge.
Nothing but I'm more excited about the players coming in than playing them

What is your weird obsession with James, Weimann and King? They were clearly brought into the club to bring some kind of stability and professionalism when NP came in because we were at the time a sinking ship.
Both James and Weimann for the majority of their time here have been our best performing players. We have benefited from their experience.
You are being totally disrespectful towards them in your posts
I have nothing against them In fact I think James has been a good signing and I've always admired Weimanns work rate but they are not the future and we were going nowhere with them

Naismith was back during mannings time in charge. He got injured again under manning. It was only Atkinson and Benerous who were out.

So you agree that Manning hasn't improved what Pearson was doing, despite having far more first team players available?
Weimann and James have been excellent contributors in recent years, and though they're approaching a time where they may need to be replaced, they are both clear successes from Pearson's time as manager.
Yep agreed but I can see we are improving and I'm excited for the future

Pearson had a depleted squad patched up with 17 year old youth players. Manning on the other hand has a fully fit squad + new transfer signings. Context.
Fully fit squad? Where's Naismith and Atkinson?

Yeah! Boo! Old dinosaur manager who helps the clubs to make sustainable progress - boring!
Boo! Boring old players who are experienced and reliable at this level! Yawn!
Let's get a nice shiny young manager from League 1 because that's fashionable! Let's assume the teenagers we've signed from Ireland and Non-League are an immediate upgrade on ex Premier League players Weimann and James!
Wait.....What's that? We're not collecting more points or looking any better at football? Ah well, at least we don't have a boring old dinosaur manager anymore!
Pearson and Manning have got a similar amount of points. How long do you want to play Weimann and James for?

Must do better.
Weiman not considered dead wood by Corberan, who id wager knows a bit more about the game than "Big C"
King gone end May if Pearson was still around, and its funny that Manning still appears to value James isnt it.
The new players werent available to Pearson budget wise were they, but who exactly of them are you saying will improve with certainty?
Weimann yet to start for West Brom and I will be surprised if he starts more than 5 games.
Yeah because football is full of certainties isn't it? James has been in and out since Manning has been in charge. Bird is an improvement

We are in a huge losing streak which constitutes relegation form playing the most boring football I think I've ever seen
No shape, no system, no logic with players not seemingly knowing what they are supposed to be doing
But hey ho keep clapping and we will keep sliding
We are playing better football than under Pearson and a huge losing streak? Tonight was our 2nd loss in 7 games, 3rd loss in 12

Care to explain how you perceive that we have improved?
Yep got rid of a dinosaur of a manager and Weimann, with King and James on their way out and got in decent young players to replace them

Define "better position" ?
What dead wood have been shipped out,?
How do you know the new signings will improve?
Weimann and Pearson for a start
They have more chance of improving than Weimann, King and James
