England play them at Hampden in Sept to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the 1st football international, which was held at the West of Scotland Cricket club in Glasgow. Very much nothing to gain, all to lose for England

Exactly. Did his ACL in January. Standard 9 month recovery means a possible return late Oct or in November.

The problem there is all three of James, Williams and Naismith will probably miss part of the season with muscle injuries. I think we need 2, if not 3 if Scott goes, additions in Midfield
