The most important piece of business in the summer will be extending his contract.

There’s also the option of Tanner at CB, with Sykes at RB. Rob’s absence is a real problem because there’s no way TK will be able to play 7 games in 22 days. Will be interesting to see if Nige keeps him back from the Hull game and uses him against Man City. Can’t see him starting both. Big ask after a year’s absence.

Match Report: Penalty curse lifted by least likely referee
Malago replied to Olé's topic in Football Chat
If only. There was a genuine argument between. Sykes, who grabbed the ball first, and Wells, about who would take it. It took Andi to Intervene and tell Sykes to give the ball to Wells, to sort it out. -
Joey’s Rover’s future must be hanging by a thread, in fact the only thing that’s probably keeping him in the job is Wally is scared he’ll get a cigar stubbed in his face if he tries to sack him.

Terrible bad luck for Rob, just when he was playing well. We’ve got TK as an obvious replacement and both Tanner and Pring can play there if necessary, with Naismith to come back, hopefully in the not too distant future.

Toby Osbourne. “Bristol City looking far more likely to break the deadlock”. 5 seconds later Sunderland score. The man’s an effing idiot. -

No complaints. We’re a long way off play off material. Nothing to lose on Saturday. Might as well give it a good go. -

Andi, Cornick and Mehmeti all start. -
That kid’s going places.

The run against the bottom four clubs plus Hull and Reading are crucial. The other thing to bear in mind is we play Burnley and Sheff Utd very late in the season, when both may well already be promoted. Whilst games against already relegated sides are dangerous, already promoted sides tend to turn up to their remaining games with the sun tan oil and deck chairs at the ready.

It’s the sub 20 World Cup this summer. That’s his age group and almost certainly to be picked having been an important member of the sub 19 Euro winners last summer.

Official attendance 23,757.
-
TBF he finds touch on a much more regular basis than the Bears full back.
-
I would have thought the explanation was self evident. Before he didn’t have faith in Pring, Atkinson etc, now he does. Credit all round.
-
TBF that’s an impressive attendance for Lincoln, but then the mighty Bristol Boca Juniors is a major attraction.

7 points from the next 3 games Wigan 3 Sunderland 1 Hull 3 Keeps in the hunt. Whether we will is another matter, but realistically that’s what we need to keep us in with a chance. -

What is it with us and referees? -
Well, this didn’t go too well did it? You know when you’re really looking forward to a great weekend of sports? Gas - lost at home to the franchise cants The 41 year franchise cants won ? England lost at Twickenham to the jocks My 60 year old penis is shrinking by every passing minute The wife’s fanny is getting less moist every passing minute By the way the last 2 are not sports related, unfortunately they used to be though. Anyway faithful & true FTG!

Max’s mistake certainly made the afternoon more difficult than it should have been, but I didn’t see a team riding its luck, I saw a team defending to a man.

Winning ugly away from home is a prerequisite of a successful side. What I’ve found encouraging is the upturn in the quality of home performances, particularly last week and against Brum.
