  1. and why not.... he's patently impressed 'em. He doesn't do sterile, park the bus type of Football, he takes a calculated gamble and he's very open to new ideas
  2. It amuses in a bored moment, but you're probably right. I have friends who are Gas (a fair portion tbh). I don't ram our recent history down their throat, and they aren't too keen either apparently
  3. I'm NOT obsessed with The Gas. I've no clue who they are playing next Saturday, I've no idea where they are in League 1, I havent any idea whether or not they have forked out any cash for a transfer fee yet since Wael took over... and what's more I don't care. There are far more important things to occupy my mind than that lot across the river. **** 'em. Don't care.
  4. repeat any ol' bollocks often enough, they'll eventually convince themselves
  5. quite. They'll go from 6th richest club to tits up in record time.
  6. it does seem to be a picture of doom over the river. My hope is that all the pisstaking doesnt come back to bite us on the ass in 30 years or so (mind you, I'll be too old to care)
  7. I remember something similar happening at Sheffield Wednesday a few years ago... http://www.5rb.com/news/sheffield-wednesday-fc-drop-libel-claims-against-fans/
  8. always had a bit of a "soft spot" for Wolves to be honest, but Molineux was the first ground my Dad took me to. Wolves V Leeds. Wolves lost 2-1, I also used to watch 'em on Star Soccer on a Sunday - Star Soccer covered all the games for Midlands clubs. Blame it on Geographic accident if you want. I'd agree, Wolves look nailed on for promotion this season, but Sween's Crystal Ball sees 3 points for City this evening. City played well at Molineux earlier this evening, and a quick look at Wolves fans forum suggests they aren't looking forward to a trip to Bristol today. Prediction: City 2-1
  9. its that time of year... I had to get one a couple of weeks ago. £115 for a new battery. At least I didn't have the problems of the guy with an Ecoflex Engine. He was being quoted £175
  10. The way The Gastards are sliding, I can see calls for those famous duo Pulis and Parsons to be re acquainted with the club.
  11. Christ! I didn't see that result coming at the start of the day let alone when City were two down. What a very good result!!!
  12. is it me, or has the person on the right got their Jim Jams on?
  13. talkin' of stuff North East, RIP Freddie Shepherd.... a man who put his money where his mouth and heart led him.... Newcastle United, Alan Shearer etc. The profits at the local lapdancing bars will take a severe hit
  14. always felt Dave Rogers would have made a good makeshift striker/target man back in the day (especially when we were short of a Big Lad up front.
  15. been watching C5. The Gastards are bottom of League 1. Vodka in the freezer. Happy Daze
