He was doing some interesting gesturing to somebody whilst the game was ongoing. Potentially to the Blackburn manager. What was that all about?

Not too sure but he did walk over to their bench in the first half to say something

Quick one for those who have done PNe away by train. Is 17:18 train possible to make from stadium?

My train was a similar time and I've opted for the train just after 18:00 all be it heading back to Lincolnshire and not Bristol

Remember that game at Leeds a few years ago under LJ, we were 2-0 up and cruising, then their crowd decided that they'd had enough of giving their players stick and started to get right behind them and created a raucous atmosphere for the last half hour or so.

Sure enough, the players responded and salvaged a draw. Nobody who saw that would say that the crowd didn't have a big impact on things that day.

I remember seeing one Leeds fan start whirling his scarf in the air next thing I knew everyone was doing it and they was unlucky not to win!

  4. I'm spending Bristol in Christmas and haven't managed to get booked in anywhere for Christmas Dinner which isn't a massive deal in the grand scheme of things as I've booked us Hospitality for Boxing day.

I'm looking at potential things to on the day with my other half? I was planning on having a walk up to Clifton and over to Ashton Court but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions with things to do? Also if any pubs are likely to be open around the City centre likely to be a long shot on that one but we're fairly open to suggestions!

    Cheers

We had ours last year at Browns, which was good food, but - as you might expect - north of £30 per head.

This year, we're skipping the food and going on a pub crawl. I've thrown £200 in the whip to start us off.  Poor old teetotal staff member got outvoted.

I'm leaning towards a Pub crawl but it's convincing the other half! I've booked us in for Premier hospitality on Boxing Day so I'm hoping that will suffice ?

We're traveling down from Lincolnshire for the Christmas period so it's going to be something a little different!
