City exited the FA Cup with a spirited display against Forest, pushing their Premier League opponents through to extra time before a Sam Bell miss cost them dearly in a penalty shoot out. Like against West Ham the team did not look outclassed in stark contrast to Friday's game vs Leeds. They recovered from an early goal to draw level within 5 minutes and for long periods were very much in control. If only they had converted those chances in the second half of extra time!
