I've been to the pub, had dinner and have just tuned in.
City need me to go for a tab.
C'mon super sub!

Assist against Forrest, goal tonight. Williams seems to be offering more going forward that I imagined he would!

This is what we've been threatening to do most of the season. Hopefully we can keep it going!
-
We haven't conceded yet. It's a bit sad that I'm genuinely quite chuffed with that.
On another note, look how many of you haven't coughed up your fiver! Come on you tight arses!

Arrrgghhh, so frustrating, all over them at the end. Still, better than the defeat we were heading to.
-
Freeman misses open goal. What is with us missing chances.

I'm very happy and will be happier still if we score two or three more.
I just wish some would realise:
1) this is a tough league
2) we are a bottom six side.
Fair enough, but I'm not sure trying to rub it in people's faces when we're losing really achieves anything.
I think you've made your point many times now, and it's still nothing more than your opinion.
No no knows how this league will pan out, football is never predictable. Fortunes change all the time (look at Chelsea for example) and just because we're having a bad start none of us have any idea how we'll finish in the table.
The whole 'told you so' attitude is both self serving and delusioned, like you really know how things are going to play out this season. Even if you end up being right, it would still be pretty much down to coincidence, we could just have easily clicked really well and been in the playoffs, a la Brentford.

Kodjia, you beauty.
GrahamC won't be happy.
-
Apart from Kodjia, we started with last seasons starting side (goal keeper apart) especially last years defence and look what happens!
A massive well done to Cotts and the lads!!
And Reid?

Interesting to see Kodjia's reaction to not getting the ball played into his run. When there's more of a relationship built and we start finding those runs, he could be bagging quite a few!

Another exceptional write up, Havanatopia, fantastic read.
You've gone for the same score as me, with the same players to score!
City 2 Breguntford 1
Debut goal for Jimmy.
Might throw a tenner on it.
Same here!

A yes from me, as your match day threads are an oasis of useful entertaining information, amidst the barren wilderness of transfer speculation and general poster antagonism and abuse.
But no more James Bond puns please
I can't tell if you don't want the James Bond puns because they unnerve you or they're too rousing. But I've come to the conclusion you've been shaken not stirred.
Sorry. I hate the pun thing.

Better than Derby when they went there apparently. Good signs!
-
Passing seems a bit sloppy today but managing the game well, seem pretty in control. Barnsley yet to show anything, so far....
-
Official site - we've had 42% possession. How is that possible?
69% according to BBC and 8 shots to 0

SSN reporting that City are playing some 'amazing, magnificent football' now. Good HT talk SC!

Yes Chesterfield!!!

Does anyone know why Cotterill is so hesitant to use subs? Is it a superstition thing? Worried about making a change when we're doing well...
