http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/767664/League-One-attendances-average-2016-17-sportgalleries oh Mr Bitter raises his tiny head again, and like I said meth head the devil's in the detail .  % of capacity.? Will you inbreds go to any length  to fit an agenda.  :dancing6:

    1) You said our attendance was lower than Millwall's. I've quoted you a stat from one of the major sport websites in the world that said it isn't. You quoted the Daily Express.  Dear me.

    2) You raised the issue of the capacity of our stadium. I pointed out that we are 3rd in our league in terms of filling it.

    Keep trying.

The Methane has a capacity of 12300, yet they average under 10 .? Am I missing your point .?

We have the 3rd highest attendance as a percentage of capacity in the division.

We are also above Millwall for the average attendance this season.

As you say, the devil's in the detail.

  3. If you go down there will be a few tasty fixtures.

Plymouth, Portsmouth, Charlton, and of course us.

Plus easy ones to get to like Oxford with the three sided stadium, and perhaps Exeter for Devon cream tea. MK Dons for the stadium and padded seats. And AFC Wimbledon because everyone should be happy to be playing them, because they're an example of how the fans can save the club.

And I think you chose to ignore my question so touche.

No I didn't. I said that you should give him a chance to score the goals that he did for us. I'm not denying the man a chance.  I'm suggesting that LJ should give him a chance.

Is there any chance of you reading what I actually say?

The poster was called a bellend because he wasn't on OTIB when you were non league. Totally unrelated to your club (apart from the reason he didn't show his fingers). Where was the defending of your club in your post?

Danny is totally unrelated to our club?

    Sorry, missed that.

Who does he support then?  Hartlepool?

You need to up your game.  Your self imposed exile seems to have coincided with Matty signing for us .

I could have a lot more to say about what has happened at Bristol City since you signed the snake.  All I would suggest is that you actually give him a chance to score a few goals instead of wasting him on the bench.

I spoke to someone who had supported Bristol for decades .He had no ties to City or your lot but knew what had been going on when your lot bought the stadium. He told me that all memorabilia of Bristol RFC had been chucked into a skip even while they were still playing there and nobody would ever know that it was a rugby stadium, they were also made to feel unwelcome in their own home. Your excuse of a club has a history of being underhand and lacking class .

That is truly shocking, if true.

It goes a long way to explaining why they moved to Ashton Gate as soon as possible, sixteen years later.

  8. He's joined the Evil Empire and we just have to get over it, dust ourselves off and carry on without our shape-shifting reptilian.

I wonder where Lansdown will choose to play him?

Matty is very versatile, and clearly will play for anyone if the money is right.

Could it be the rugby boys?  Or perhaps the hockey or badminton teams?

Would that be the cup that your tinpot outfit were beaten in by a non-league side ?

And would that QPR v Burton be in the championship ?

Jesus, its like shooting fish in a barrel.

That's what every other Championship manager thinks of BCFC isn't it?

    What a stupid post.

Weal has cleared our debts,is in the process of buying/brought land for our training ground and has been able keep our best ever manager and our best player which we have never been able to do before!

From day one Weal has said about building our club from the ground up.If we started throwing money about like lansdown did at city in years gone by while we are still at the Mem we will be screwed.Fair play for lansdown for spending £50 million on a bristol club, but he did it before City were ready and had the foundations to support it eg: Ashton gates rebuild and it's the same with us at the Mem.

As for us having a 'conference side' .... you sound like one of those moaners that go to the mem and would rather see a poor BRFC then any successful one,and now have a bee in your bonnet because we have had 2 and a half great years.

These are the people that have to play the victim and would rather have dunceford and higgs still here as there was a clear enemy/ disease in our club at the time and can't get over, or accept that we are now progressive club and are no longer 'ragbag Rovers' - well not in the long term.

DC has made a couple of mistakes in the loan system this season, but that "conference" side that also got promotion last season, and has us with a very good sniff of the playoffs with 20 games to go this term and that is ok by me.

Just for the record, I think that if we were to go up this year then we would be more than likely to come back down straight away. But if clubs like Burton,Rotherham, wigan ,brentford  and to a lesser extent -  preston can survive in the championship in years gone by on the same crowds that we would get in the mem ...why not get up when we can?

Holy sh*t!  I wooshed one of my own men.

  11. One point off the playoffs.  Conference side. No money invested by Wael.  Crap stadium.

i genuinely think if we manage to get promoted this season we will go straight back down again unless Wael produces the millions he hasn't so far.

But, but, but, despite all that, it will be two massive games for us and you if it actually happens.

    You know it's true.

On the train back from Charlton Athletic Wael sat next to God and God said to him you seem like a nice bloke I’ll grant you three wishes. Yippee said Wael my first wish is for a brand new stadium and lo and behold a shiny new all seater stadium suddenly appeared on the UWE campus. Then Wael said my second wish is for a state of the art training ground and lo and behold a superb new training ground (just like Fleetwood’s) dropped out of the sky and onto Hortham Lane, Almondsbury. Wael was completely overcome with excitement so God said calm down young man or you’ll wake up Stephen Hamster now what is your final wish. And Wael said I’m fed up with  being a phoney Gashead so my final wish is to become a true Gashead and lo and behold he sprouted a little beer belly and his eyes began to glaze over. But at the exact same moment the new stadium and the new training ground both disappeared in a puff of smoke. OMG said Wael what shall I do now ?  My club will have to stay put at the ramshackle old Mem and train on any patch of waste ground we can find to rent. That’s right said God, but you did say you wanted to become a true Gashead.

    Comedy gold.

I await Fleabag gracing us with his presence tonight

I might be busy tonight, so I'll offer my thoughts now.

A decent win in L1 against the Real Dons, every one of them 6' 7" and 18 stone.

A good win for QPR and Mr Holloway. Making up some ground on those just a few places above them.

Happy New Year to all on OTIB, even those that wouldn't wish one to me.
