I enjoy bantering with you lot. Some of the replies are quite witty and not too many are hostile. I know you hate me though.

Not at all. The Gloucester Road is a great place to be, and far better in my opinion than your location, but we have no room to expand there and the nimbys will not allow it. So we have to move half a mile north of ye olde Bristol border into to the as-yet unexplored jungles of South Gloucestershire to find some space. It's going to be difficult getting there, if we ever do, since it is about 2 miles from where we are now.

I think you might find it's actually "misspelled ", not "mis-spelled". Best to get your own house in order before trashing others.

On a slightly off-topic observation, why is it that when using Chrome on my iPad, the little logo on the OTIB tab at the top of the screen is in a pale blue shade and not red?

This is banter on very thin ice here. You can criticise the fans, the stadium, the lack of wealth of the new owner, and the players, but slagging off the man who has totally transformed our club in two years is never going to work. I hate to think where we might be if Nick Higgs hadn't turned to him in desperation and said "Well, all the other overpaid buggers have failed miserably, so it's on your shoulders now, lad." He's joining Swansea soon, apparently.

I don't think we'll get promoted this season. We've been lucky coming from a goal behind too many times for the trend to continue. But it's all going well so far. One point off the playoffs. Who knows? Here's a genuine question for you. If City don't get promotion, would you possibly like the prospect that Rovers could go up, and next year look forward to two of the biggest clashes we've had in 100 years, or do you just want them to stay in the lower league and frick off?

No. I have no idea, but presumably the investors, who may or may not include Wael's family, think it's viable. I'm assuming getting into the Championship is a vital part of the plan. If we don't, then who knows what will happen.

I have my sources. No love lost between the Supporters' Club and the new owners, so they were never going to announce it at the Q&A for SC members only.

Well if you're talking about the last fifteen years then fair play to comment on the farce that we have had to endure. If we're talking about the last two years then maybe not.

I don't wait for Bert. I read this forum often. I am interested in what you lot have to say about our rivals in Bristol. I read Gaschat much more often, but I do keep up with this one. Just interested. Especially about what you say about us. As many others on here do also, meaning they read Slagchat.

I would settle for that. Get rid of someone who spends his time on here as a supposed Rovers fan, who does nothing but criticise his club, and also lose a genuine fan who is annoyed by the other one. It's your forum. Ban us both. Or maybe just "Bert". Since I am real and respectful of your forum and he is just taking the p@ss out of it.

Oh well. Did you find his long, long obscure post as hysterically funny as he thought it was when he wrote it? Or like me, did you think it was a bit of a waste of time?

Be honest lads. I know you love Bert, but is it a good idea to spend an hour of your life composing that latest pile of over-wordy nonsense? What does any of the implied irony or sarcasm actually mean except that he hates Bristol Rovers then and now? If any of it was worth writing, or had some humour, I might laugh sardonically, but sadly I am not looking forward to part 2. Can you ban him?

The whole point of this thread is to put us down. Fair enough. But unless or until I'm banned, I'm free to post another view. I don't criticise City or individual posters. I just celebrate the small but growing bits of success Rovers have these days after years of sh*te. It would be boring without the occasional deluded horse punching sag head sticking up for the tent dwelling losers.
