  1. The two coppers need hauling into the office for a reminder of what their job is. If that idiot had a knife which there was no way of knowing when he ran on they were clearly prepared to let two minimum wage stewards deal with it!!
  2. Anyone see that Leicester fan swing punches at the Forest players. Lucky the stewards got hold of him cos that Davis was going to lamp him……..,.all this while two coppers stand there like gormless farts.
  3. Surprised after his performance the other evening but clearly the Manager trusts him.
  4. Probably the same 54 year old blokes that smashed up our shitter the other week…….
  5. Apparently they were singing we ******* hate the West Country song at him after the game……,
  6. Nige took an opportunity to have a good long look at Max when Bentley's form had dipped and, as you say, we did see a huge positive on the distribution side of things at the back with Max in goal BUT the issue is 22 goals conceded in 8 games and if/until Max does whatever he needs to do to stop that level of goals being conceded I think it is sensible to get a hopefully refreshed Bentley back between the sticks again. Unfortunately some posters have a huge inability to see beyond comments like mine being personal or a blame game - they really aren't, it's just a fact that at Pro level if the goals conceded are that high the vast majority of Managers will have to consider a GK change for the benefit of the WHOLE TEAM.
  7. Definitely time to change the keeper too unfortunately. 22 goals conceded in 8 league games demands it. Communication, shot stopping and taking high balls are all things that need to be done in addition to playing the ball around nicely as the sweeper keeper. Tbf Pearson has given him a proper go to see where Max is in his progression and it seems that not enough of his game is where we need it to be at right now. It's not about blaming him for every single goal he concedes.....defenders want and need a presence behind them.
  8. You are very probably wrong. Steve isn’t dipping his hand in his pocket to sack another manager.
  9. Not a lot more tbh. Certainly won’t be 50 or close to it.
  10. What makes me laugh is reading posters who defend Steve Lansdown to the hilt and then snipe at the bloke he’s given three years to get us out of the mess that Mark Ashton supported by Steve created. Have you not realised yet that your man Steve is sticking by the Manager you can’t abide……..it’s funny to read.
  11. 22 goals in 8 league matches is not good enough and at least half a dozen of those would make you question the goalkeeping. He's been given a chance which I can fully understand Nige doing, he just hasn't taken it and that's his issue nobody else's.
  12. I'm saying that statement is both stupid and mental. Not calling you anything. Be very careful how offended you get by this.........
  13. It isn't just about today. He's been given a nice extended opportunity and is AVERAGING 3 goals per game conceded and a number of those have to bring his overall competence at this level into question. That isn't good enough, end of story.
  14. Kalas has been ordinary for most of the season despite what many on here think. That isn't a coaching issue. If Pearson cannot say thank you very much to the likes of Simpson, O'Dowda, O'Leary, Moore at the end of the season and bring in better I will be surprised.
  15. You said he didn't look interested which is a stupid thing to say about an 18 year old kid who has been our find of the season. mental thing to say.
  16. With the ball at our feet we are improving, surely you can see that or is it a case of not wanting to see it? Yes, defensively we are awful right now and I agree with most that something needs to be done about that. Personally I would go four at the back with Vyner RB if nobody else fit and Bentley in goal.
  17. We'll probably see a few decent performances between now and the end of the season but to see a more consistent period of "ups" we need better players in certain positions.
  18. That's my point. He started off his run showing he could get the team playing from the back but the simple fact is you cannot have a goalkeeper in who lets a minimum of two goals go past him every single week and is averaging three conceded per game. That's where Max is right now. He's got to be pulled out of it.
  19. Whether you think he's the answer or not he certainly isn't going anywhere.
  20. Agreed, he's had an extended opportunity to show what he can do and unfortunately for Max he has not proven himself to be a competent Goalkeeper at the level so far. Fine with his feet but you do have to make saves, take crosses, communicate and organise a back 4 too.
  21. I'm sure he really isn't interested..............................jesus wept.
  22. After 8 assists in circa 150 matches there was certainly little chance of O'Dowda providing an assist.........
  23. He's not doing a fantastic job with the Keepers either................
