  1. That decision deserves a National League appointment next week. To get it wrong and change your correct decision when you have a second look at it is lily livered at best, bent at worst.
  2. It’s strange that yet again the people who don’t think it’s good enough are conspicuous by their absence since yesterday lunch time. What a terrible way to support a football club ie only show up to bellyache.
  3. I think Mike Dean would have done in that instance tbf.
  4. Shame there’s not a Tunnel Cam because Viera walks down the tunnel five yards in front of the Ref….
  5. He can still decide that he got it right first time and tell Pawson at Stockley Park that he’s a bellend!!!!
  6. ……or are Stockley Park and Kevin Friend making sure that there is a title race of sorts? I guarantee that penalty would not have even been looked at down the other end.
  7. Can only assume it’s for football reasons then. Certainly no comments made like the Bakinson situation.
  8. Pearson is on loan, same as Britton and so was Bell so it seems to me the only player that Nige really thinks is close is Conway. I would have thought there will be footballing reasons for that rather than because he likes Conway and hates the others.
  9. Hopefully the medical team and club use more than a photograph to determine whether a player is up to the physical demands of Championship football.,..,
  10. Agree with last comment. If Pearson is being asked to “build” something then these are decisions that need to be made. Are these lads going to be good enough for what he needs or not? Same with Bakinson and anyone else. We are no longer a club that can stockpile clubs in the bag in the hope that a percentage of them will come good eventually, a luxury afforded to LJ. We don’t have those finances any more.
  11. This is where I currently sit tbh.........
  12. It's a job to these players. Flint is from up North somewhere, why would he give a shit about you or I? Some players love the interaction with fans, others do it because they have to to stay onside and a small number couldn't give a toss what the fans think of them as long as their £35K gets paid into their account at the end of the month.........no different a cross section of people than any other job.
  13. Why are people so keen to have old players back? Pack as of his abilities NOW isn't what we need if we want to get to the standard that sees us competing properly at Championship level rather than treading water so for what possible reason would we want him back other than the most minute of SHORT TERM gain?
  14. It would be strange for a Manager who, because of severe financial restrictions, seems ultra keen to give young un's a go IF THEY ARE UP TO IT to have a problem with this one kid. Apparently it's obvious to a number of fans who have only seen the kid play once at a proper level and never watched him train though.
  15. I'll humour you....... Do you think that watching the kid train every day might give Pearson a better opinion of his current ability than you? How come he never smashed it on loan at Woking if he is as good as you say he is? Were they picking on him too? You don't think Scott and Benarous are better than Britton? What problem does Pearson have with the lad? I'm asking because you state it is so obvious but I'm a bit dimp and can't see it....... If West Brom and Wolves are watching him what is he doing on loan at some League of Ireland mob?
  16. You either weren’t at the ground or if you were you must have been ball watching?
  17. That is part of football like it or not. It’s not about going out there to break legs but you have got to get stuck in and show your Manager and the fans you give a shit…unless you played for Bristol City pre 2021/22 season in which case you were on a nice easy screw.
  18. It’s the rules. If you have a towel the away team has a right to use it too.
  19. The issue with players who make you work your bollocks off to get a tune out of them is that in the end they will always let you down. Certainly in my playing experience anyway.
  20. Get your ass down there for 12.30pm and find out.
  21. What is good is that we were told it would be January when he got injured. Compare that to last seasons "back in a few weeks" which translated as season ender half the time.
  22. That sort of thing spreads really quickly if you don't nip it in the bud and before you know it you have seven or eight players who are convinced that they will never get a game "under this clown".
  23. Oh they will. The very same people who were crucifying Nige for playing him when we had a load of injuries will be crucifying him the very first time he has a decent game for Ipswich................
  24. Exactly that imo. Sounds like he's been flouncing around the training ground telling people "I'm ******* off" rather than fighting for a place in the side and Nige has turned round to the kid and said "my pleasure lad, the exit door is that ******* way....".
  25. You will get a few who stick up for the player and say it's the Manager's responsibility that a player has a shite attitude. Always happens.
