  1. Of course it was heavy. They had legs, we didn’t. They were sharp, we weren’t. We had not far short of a whole side on the treatment table. They have parachute payments and a big squad. Shit happens in these situations. Nothing tactical, nothing to do with ability. We were fooked, they weren’t and so they gave us a spanking. We were out on our feet against Reading after the Man Utd/QPR games then we put a shift in against Wolves and the same side bar Frank were out on their feet again. Not much of a surprise tbh.
  2. Just got back......get a grip ffs. We were overRUN tonight, simple as that. First 15 we looked decent but when the first went in the wheels came off. Make no mistake the Man Utd and Wolves games took a lot out of us. We have kids on the bench, not a lot of options to freshen it up. It really was a case of one game to many tonight. The lads gave it their all, all being not a lot left to give tbf. What we need to do is rest Reid, Brownhill, Flint, Smith, Pack, Bryan and Wright on Saturday. Take the fine from the FA, end of story. Re-charge the batteries and go again next Tuesday. Negative - end the Flint up top experiment. Positive, Kelly did alright in his cameo.
  3. They should set up a thread about themselves called “Elephants on the pitch” although if they got wind of that they’d probably run on the pitch and punch them. Sell out tomorrow, 7k to Man City etc, yeah our attendances will slump!! Although as much as we’ve had that Man Utd win shoved down our throats, apparently, I would take being in the top 6 of the Championship, being on Sky every week and watching football they can only dream about in packed stadiums ahead of taking 50 to Gillingham, 350 to Oldham and celebrating 0-0 draws at Walsall like they’ve just done Barca!!
  4. £371m of “talent” swept aside last night. That’s a lot of Tilsons.
  5. Using the money we pay you for Hugill!!! That will upset the Horse Punchers. Messing their season up yet again. Bet that scenario wasn’t covered in our Gentleman’s Agreement we have with them after nicking Taylor off them last season!!
  6. This is what gets churned out when someone from Cardiff tries to sound intelligent!!
  7. I think we need to get a sense of perspective and recognise that the Fewers do have a more prowed history and culture than us though. A history of punching horses and head butting vans. And a culture of thieving from the till and where boob cricket assaults on innocent women taking their kids out for a walk is acceptable!!
  8. Stand by what I said. Delighted with the win AND I think Lloyd Kelly playing over Magnússon when Bryan is injured would benefit the club in the long term. That's my opinion. And if you want to be a spend your Saturday Evening trawling through 16 pages on a matchday thread finding posts to quote why don't you search a bit harder and quote the later one I wrote!!!!
  9. What we lack in quality at times is more than made up for in sheer guts, determination and fight. Nobody can say the team are short changing ya this season. Performances like Preston and the first hour today where we just weren’t playing very well should be forgiven when we have a team that is consistently showing it will fight to the end. With a relatively young team like ours the quality won’t always be there. But if you have got a group of players who will scrap for points you have half a chance!!
  10. This is my issue tbh. If we accept we aren’t a top six outfit, which we aren’t, then I’d rather see Kelly get game time over Magnússon who has had plenty of time to get up to speed and doesn’t seem up to it. 10 games from Kelly here and there will benefit the club more in the long term imo.
  11. A point away at a good side just starting to find their feet this season isn't to be sniffed at. Keeps us in a solid top six position. As Dopey would say....Happy Days. How did the other lot get on btw?
  12. It’s a tent with some second hand benches and lockers that fell off the back of a lorry.
  13. Yeah but their ground "redevelopment" has cost less than 1% of a Tilson compared to our tens of millions. Pissing all over us off the pitch yet again!!
  14. #gaslogic dictates that you ignore facts like the above (once in the last FIFTY years they've beat us on attendance), make statements like "if we were in their position we'd piss all over their attendances" and that becomes the undisputed truth.
  15. In the interests of fairness clubs should start giving attendance figures of Rovers fans locked out in the car park.
  16. Hope we get the win obviously but would we see a "dirty" 0-0 draw as an improvement over last season?
  17. 8,431 for the Massives today, the Wolves fans were right, far bigger club than we could ever be!! Hope the extra bog roll being supplied in the Tent End didn't run out.
  18. Rovers fans have been jizzing all week about what a massive club they are compared to "they gert teds" so 20k down the swamp today then?
  19. 4 points from Reading and Wolves is a great effort from all concerned. Brave selection tonight by Johnson so love him or loathe him he had to be given the plaudits for that.
  20. This selection lies somewhere between genius and ridiculous, just can't work out where!! But with Frank nigh on impossible to beat perhaps we can play any formation and get away with it!!
