  1. I think the Rotherham keeper came in at around # 32
  2. Think you’ll find the his preferred position is RB..
  3. Good and well deserved recognition there for Max.. it would have taken a lot of votes to make that list. I’m guessing there would have been approx 1,000 eligible players to chose from?
  4. Well in fairness, SL’s keen on taking everybody else’s money too.. And if you have an asset that you’d like to sell at way above true market value then you really should ensure that you properly service, grow and maintain it.
  5. I’ll split the difference.. “how on earth did we manage to draw with Huddersfield”.
  6. What if, and it’s possible, we lose at home to Rotherham? We’re playing Manningball, they’ve not won a single game away from home in the championship this season and are already relegated… Jamo, Williams and Kingy will likely have been told that they’re surplus to requirements for our promotion push next term… What could possibly go wrong? Surely then SL would have to pipe up and be seen to be managing his business?
  7. Don’t forget Leeds falling apart again..
  8. Too young to have failed? What planet are you on he got the arse from MK Dons… I suppose you could argue that he managed to hang in there for just over a year which given what we’ve witnessed to date is quite a feat.
  9. No beer, no food, certainly not much on the entertainment front… all he needs is a seat next to you and he’s got the lot.
  10. Go on then, I’ll bite… Why on earth would you trust Liam’s judgement?
  11. You’ve got to tell a few white lies these days to get a job…
  12. We support the same club and ultimately want the same thing… however the Sunderland game a few days before the extraordinary Blackburn game and yesterday a few days later were frankly very, very poor performances . Beating Swansea in another low quality game and Plymouth may have assisted putting us top of a form table.. but you can’t unsee the performances, people are entitled to be offside. We all want to see the green shoots that you mention, and I know I’m going over it again, but ironically that was exactly what a lot of the us were beginning to see at the start of this season and then for reasons most of us will never understand it all changed.
  13. Thing is there’s nothing much different being dished up on the pitch week on week, we’re watching the same dross over and over and over again.. there’s nothing being offered by the club performance wise to change the narrative. And if the changes to the squad over the summer are modest as we are being led to believe and not wholesale, why should we remotely believe LM will be able to deliver anything different next term? It’s friggin depressing, I can’t get why you don’t see that?
  14. I still think it’s end of season at home against Huddersfield and even more so if he’s composed and mature for his age, what else can he do? Anyway it’s a moot point and just my opinion too.
  15. It’s Liam’s choice though Dave.. if young JKL can’t get a start today at home against relegation threatened Huddersfield with Zac, Dickie and Atkinson unavailable then when can he?
  16. .. It’s still a bit early for me here Dave… I saw Kasey Palmers name and jumped straight on to it.. back to bed for me. Thanks for taking it relatively easy on me… you could have given me a good lashing for that one
  17. Good work JB… I remember the first game back in December and was reading through your MDT to see if it was as bad as I recall… and it was. Surely we’ll be better this time, 2-0 to us. Need to add Jay Dasilva and our old legend Louis Carey to the list of players for both clubs.

    When to do it

See attached topic posted by JB on the eve of our ‘upturn’ in form. It appears that pretty much no one saw the upturn coming. WSM Seagull didn’t even post on this topic by the way, but neither did any of the posters who are now proclaiming to have been right about the change in manager all along… where was the confidence for the future? It’s fair to say that pretty much across the forum that as JB’s post shows there was little optimism. So what’s changed? We played well against Leicester and although we had our chances, we could easily have lost if it were not for Max playing out of his skin and Vardy going completely missing. We were in my opinion good value for our win against Plymouth… but the game against Sunderland was beyond awful, again thank heavens for Max. The game against Blackburn was a bit surreal.. we played well scoring 5 unanswered goals but honestly we’d all agree that Blackburn were rubbish. So yes, results have improved so optimism obviously rises, but it’s too early to be thinking that LM is now the new messiah.. so far there’s been a lot more bad than good during his tenure. As DaveFevs says, let’s see what the next few games bring, but as good as our 5-0 win was, that Sunderland performance was only a few days earlier.
  19. Well there it is, performance and result.. Brilliant. To be honest though, watching Blackburn has been like watching us as of late. Can only play against what is in front of you though and we’ve done a good job so far..
  20. We’ll just be going over old ground if you get me started.. so why don't you tell me why you’ve been a bit underwhelmed?
  21. Well actually I thought the 4-1 win away to Watford last year was brilliant, outstanding really. I honestly thought we would then kick on and challenge strongly for the rest of the season. We obviously didn’t. Before that Watford away game and since then, apart from Southampton and perhaps Ipswich away it’s been pretty ordinary at best, surely you’d agree? Also felt that both the Southampton and Ipswich games were an abandonment of Manningball. Remember our Manningball game at home to Leeds? He should have gone there and then really.
  22. I give you Millwall (h), QPR (h), Cardiff (h).. and you’re right, it’s hard to forget.
  23. Well worth both entitled to an opinion.. personally I’m fed up with him telling us how he is teaching our players how to play the game, and how they are or are not grasping his behavioural requirements.. it’s nonsense. Let’s see if we can keep another three clean sheets and turn in a couple of decent performances over the next few games. He’s bluffing..
  24. Interesting to hear from LM that the recent run of three clean sheets can be attributed to the opportunity for some focussed coaching on the grass over the international break, well done Liam you’re a genius… there was I thinking that if it were not for Max then we could have conceded six or seven over those three games.
