  1. But if Pearson would have been supported back in the summer and again as required in January… we’d be there or thereabouts.
  2. Just an update to point #3.
  3. Celtic are the top scorers in the SPL and have scored as many as the third and fourth teams combined - 68 in 28 games. Rangers have scored 63 in 28 games. If Tommy went to either he’d score a hatful, it would not be much more challenging for him than playing in the U21s. I certainly don’t think he should go north of the border though, an in form young championship forward will always attract more attention from the premier league, (which would be his dream.. he’s not really Scottish), than an SPL equivalent IMO.
  4. Bournemouth? I don’t think so. Take someone a lot better than Tommy to replace Solanke.
  5. You thought he’d do at least as well as Scott? Blimey..
  6. Would we sell him to a championship competitor though? Different thing once his contract has expired and it’s his choice.

Regardless of price… would he even want to be here next season? He’s probably got a bit of real ambition in him which he may not see as be aligned with Bristol City, especially now that he’s had a look at the chaos from the inside.
  8. Well that rings a Bell..
  9. Ahhh… When you’re sat in row z and the ball hits your head… that’s Zamora
  10. Can he thought? I was under the impression that he’s not been playing much at all for the U21s of late and more aligned with the U18s? I could be wrong..
  11. Possibly give him a fair crack in the U21s and develop him alongside our players and coaches as opposed to Bath’s group?
  12. TBH if it wasn’t for Max we would have been 3 or 4 down at HT in the first game against West Ham and then we wouldn’t have had the euphoria of the cup run. Same against Leeds at home. We’ve been dodgy for a while.
  13. I agree, TC needs to be both playing and scoring regularly to have any chance of getting a gig in the premier.. The worst outcome could be that he continues to run his contract down and then ends up at somewhere like Coventry on a free.
  14. Can’t see Brian doing that to be honest.. In reality, JL should be the one to hold his hands up and admit that he’s made a mistake in placing too much trust in BT. Missing out on the playoffs is regrettable but as will be the most likely scenario regressing from last season will be totally unacceptable. JL should get shot of both BT and LM and try and rebuild some credit with not only the fan base but with everyone including sponsors associated with the club. Cant see JL doing that either to be honest..
  15. Some guy in the EP comments section suggested it should be FAILand..
  16. I remember the Daily Mirror back page headline…. ‘Oh, Darling Donnie..’ due to Donny Osmond’s popularity at the time.. just checked but he wasn’t in the charts that week though.
  17. Blimey Dave, you’re a patient bloke. How long is your evaluation process going to last? Liam’s been here for half a season now with pretty much a full squad, surely you’re close to being on the home stretch?
  18. Sorry, reading your comments above I'm struggling to see why you just couldn't vote on this poll?
  19. Leicester and Leeds automatic… with Leeds closing gap to 2 points. Ipswich, Southampton, West Brom and Norwich in the play offs City 13th with 57 points (why I still think we can beat teams like Huddersfield and Rotherham at home I don’t know) Stoke, Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham down. On 44 points I’ve calculated that we’re already safe.. Which in reality I know won’t be the case but it is an indication that with the remaining fixtures teams near the bottom are going to continue to struggle to pick up enough points to claw their way back.
  20. I misinterpreted your initial response as having a go for me being overly negative and you seemingly being quite content with things as they are… please accept my apologies. Full respect to you too for making the effort and travelling to these games, just wish you hadn’t reminded me of the Birmingham game last season though.. although can only watch via RTV these days, that game in particular still sends shivers down my spine.
  21. Mate, we ain’t going upwards. The conversations have turned from top 6 to bottom 6.. At this rate, in the next year or two the gas wont be coming for us, we’ll be coming for them.
  22. What momentum is that then?
  23. Fair enough we’ve certainly done better away from home against these no hopers… but an average of less than 1.5 points per away game against this lot seems to satisfy you a lot more than it does me. Do you recall the Huddersfield, Birmingham and QPR away games? Dearly me, and BTW thanks to Nige for the two away games against these bottom teams that we were able to win, and for the one at home for that matter. Anyway, stay happy..
  24. We’ve actually lost at home to 4 of the bottom 7.. and still got 2 to play. We did smash Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 though after Barry Bannan was incorrectly sent off..
