I think I may be thinking of The Bath Bridge Tavern that was on the Bath Road my apologies.

The Bristol Bridge was a small boozer around where the quickfit centre now stands on the A4 Bath Road just up across the road from Fowlers. I remember the record shops in Bath and Bristol in the late 70s early 80s and very much looked forward to visiting a lot of them on most Saturdays . I also saw several bands such as Stiff little fingers, UK subs and a few more at the Bath Pavilion in 79/80 having been dragged along by my uncle . Still have some old ticket stubs somewhere….happy days
