Honestly thought Mehmeti would have kicked on this season.
Think he'll be gone in January. Not good enough unfortunately.

Not a surprising development. Bristol CC are just saying that they are prepared to go to court to defend their approval of the application.
It still may not end up "in court". Assuming ETM aren't bluffing, the JR claim will now be sent to court, and a judge will decide whether or not it will go to a full hearing.
It could be thrown out in a matter of weeks, or worst case, goes to a full hearing and they'll be a delay of many months/years.
Lets hope you're right.
This is BCC after all and everything they touch is a farce, so why would this be different?

Going to court! This development will never be built. Joke of a city, with mediocre sport teams at best. The city doesn't deserve good things.

Get down to the Gate and immerse yourself in our club shop. Soon to be added to the world heritage site.

I hate this city, Nothing gets done. I can see why SL is fed up with this place. Get out Steve while you still got sanity.

Right.. my away shirt came today. Finally thought O'Neills got one right…
Quality is awful…
Badge has scratches on it out of the package. The sown on O’Neills logo is fraying and pulls in the fabric around it.
The fabric itself is like that shiny old football kit fabric.
And the main problem which made me laugh out loud. They’ve stuck the badge on at the wrong angle!
Anybody defending this brand. Just hold one in your hands and you’ll get it. It’s so bad there’s no way we will be with them for that long. £50 quid!!!
It is truly dreadful!
Embarrassing really.

That headbutt!! Needs to look at this guy.

Jeez, quality is so poor. Tried a medium and the neck and arms must have been put on the wrong shirt size, they wouldn't look out of place on a XS or S.

For all the SL bashing and theorising on what he's planning to do with the club, despite his wealth it must be totally gutting for him to have spent the amounts he has on infrastructure and covering the debts every season that all he has achieved is to have got us out of league 1.
A billionaire running a reasonably sized club in a big city has only managed to get us from League 1 to the Champ and even there we've only been in the playoffs once and that was a season when nobody was expecting us to even get in the playoffs.
From a business it has been a failure. SL wanted PL football and that dream has died. The quicker we accept the club will never achieve top flight football and will bounce between champ and league 1 the happier and care free we can be.

Certainly doesn't help. The squad is thin IMO, we need that luck with injuries too.
Unfortunately luck doesn't play apart when the body is pushed to the edge. Think footballers in 10 years will/should be robots

Injuries surely down to players having to play/return too early because we have such a threadbare squad.
-
Jesus christ!! Popped into the club shop today and what an embarrassing club shop we have. Low to zero stock and no etas on products.

Equal pay or not! Thanks girls for inspiring my daughter and niece to play football over th last ten years and it's nice to see them both running rings around the boys too.

It seems the longer we stay in this league the smaller club we become and unable to compete. Is it we just have to admit we will never reach the Prem and be happy with mid table every season and playing 'unable to compete football' or be near the top of league 1? We have some great youngsters at the club which don't cost the earth but not many sides in sports win anything with youngsters. It's a real conundrum for those in charge and I don't envy them

Does anyone know whether the club intends to make any parking at the ground/ wickes available for the women’s games?
I'm hoping wickes site will become a building sight at some point this year!

Why are they not using the Dolman Stand first to have a crowd in shot for televised matches?
I'm happy with all the leg room in the Lansdown, thank you

When does the season start and is there any fixture list out yet?
cheers
Usually starts at the end of September/early October.
News on the new arena has gone very quiet, was it too good to dream?

Was it a hamstring last season that took him out? Is he the new Michael Owen for injuries which will stunt his progression.

Must win game! As I can’t see many sides dropping points against qpr this season. I want to go with a 3-1win but it will read in the report after the game as “city had 15 corners, 24 shots, 1 on target and 82% possession” and we’ve lost 2-0 :(
