All rumours.
Wasn't the American actor meant to be taking over last season ?!

Sat in the home end the natives are calling us a dirty team and playing like this against a shit team like Bristol City !

Also getting Waggy and co a bit more match fitness.
He's a decent squad player with the bonus of hitting 5 plus goals a season. Getting him match fit has to be a priority

Yep. It will be nice to see the young lads give it a go against Premier League opposition.
Pembo has got balls, that's for sure.

Leeds is winnable for me personally. Hopefully see some of the young un's get on. Whilst a cup run would be a positive, like you say would swap that for shitty 1-0 wins in our next 3/4 league games

Anyone know when season tickets go on sale for next season?
Hope the board have sold the Lansdown Club tickets for next season. May be a little tougher in league 1 than the championship

Outside of some miraculous and unexpected signings the writing is truly on the wall.
Totally agree, we appear unable to attract players. We play the sane 11 every week despite performance or results. We're not prepared to amend our system, despite conceding goals and not scoring or creating
Oh well league 1 isn't that bad !!!

BC 0 - Preston 1 (Robinson)
Unfortunately that's the most likely outcome. However, with Boro at home on Saturday, this is a game we must pick up three points in. Hopefully, will see us out of the relegation zone and secondly give us some confidence going into Saturday's game

Sorry guys, we're down I can't see us getting out of this now. We have no threat in attack and a weak under belly at the back where if we concede one we generally go on to let in one or two more.
We simply are not good enough to compete at this level. Apologies for the negativity

Still has a lot to learn, but he showed that he can fight. Took some shots in the 2nd and had to survive for a minute. Then went from trying to knock him out to boxing him.
I think AJ was rattled by what happened at the end of the first round, which played into Whytes hands and it became a brawl. Once he regained his composure and boxed he looked more comfortable

Can see Eubank being knocked out as well

Yeah I watched it yesterday - the bloke is an idiot and will get knocked out I hope -
I've not seen a heavyweight with the potential of AJ for a long time, he just needs a fight where he actually gets hit back so we can see how he stands up to it.
Whyte has knocked him down in the past, admittedly at amateur level. AJ will knock him out inside two rounds this Saturday.

Yep, Andy Lee and Billy Joe are both gypos. Lee is Tyson Fury's cousin.
Haye had one massively anti climatic fight v Klitschko but other than that ko'd all his opponents at heavyweight level bar Valuev so I'd say his entertainment value ranks pretty high.
Didn't realise they were cousins

UFC sucks, but each to their own.
The big fights are often anti-climatic to casual fans but rarely to me. Take Mayweather v Pacman, most boxing fans would've told you that fight took place at least 3 years too late and Manny was shot. Couple that with Mayweather's ultra-cautious style and it was always going to be pretty dull. Same with Klitschko v Fury, with all due respect a KO was very unlikely and sure enough it was a poor fight - no way was I gonna pay £17 for it.
Domestically though there's still plenty of good action. Britain currently has 12 world champions so we should be in a 'golden era' of sorts.
You'd have been better off watching DeGale v Bute on Saturday night - DeGale is an exciting boxer with fast hands and will have some big, big fights next year.
Andy Lee v Billie Joe Saunders on 19 December and Quigg v Frampton 27 February will both be entertaining fights I promise you.
Apparently Kell Brook v Timothy Bradley could be on for next year and Adonis Stevenson v Kovalev would be another corker if made.
Andy Lee v Billy Joe will be an interesting fight, and probably the fight of the year. Am I right in saying both from the travelling community?
Quigg v frampton next year also a good match up, not a lot of love between the promoters.
The return of Haye I struggle to get any appetite for at all. His fights generally an anti climax followed by the inevitable excuses.

Fury 4/1 , but just can't see it. The late morning abuutvthe gloves / canvas means the mind games may have swung from Tyson. This fight won't go beyond 4 rounds

No changes from Saturday , 3 points today COYR's

Have to agree, their win against Leeds last week will galvanize them.
Agree their win last week will be a boost for them , but I think there were other factors involved off the pitch.
Still think we will nick this today

It's Enzo v Jones Jr this weekend isn't it?
Yes, but not sure what network it is on. Should be a good fight , much better than the one in Germany!!

Should be a cracker but on box nation which I don't have so off to bed!
Anyone give Fury a chance next weekend?
If you have BT Sport they have a show called Boxing Tonight , generally on a Tuesday about 8pm which they show the fight from the week before which was on Box Nation. Haven't seen this week's but I believe they were showing the full fight of Alvarez and Cotto last night

Good to see Anthony crolla win after what he's been through the past year / 18 months.
As for Fury , find his antics a little cringe worthy, the week build up will be interesting!

Hopefully a boxing world champion can inspire our players today, always believe we play well on Sky!

Think that's a good point, Hearn wouldn't have chosen this fight if he wasn't confident of an AJ victory. I would imagine that after it is heading towards an AJ v Haye at the end of the year, with the winner to fight Tyson or whoever holds the belt at that time.
Tricky fight, as the guy is a southpaw but would be surprised if AJ lost
