  1. Errr-hem---never saw a city fan in the tote in all the seventies/early eighties unless accompanied by a rovers fan/fans...did see a lot ROVERS in the East End in 73/74 though...
  2. Think you'd find we wouldn't want to share even if you'd built a camp nou...that's not deluded just reality. On another note I think City have bought really well and you'll have a top half finish..(christ that hurt typing that)...we'll survive league one which most Rovers fans would accept for now...
  3. Ah, back from hols and looking forward to a look at our city rivals unique insight on the world, political, Rovers oriented or otherwise and I see that nothing has changed- bit like things back at the mem... look forward to the banter and helping Philgas out from time to time...
  4. I take offence...my lucidity is far from remote....
  5. Just starting the hair of the dog piss up... yes, probably shouldn't have come on here after yesterday- but,to reiterate, you do have some decent fans on your forum and hard as it can be, sometimes the bait is just too much- interesting times for both clubs. Much as our owner has quickly been given hero status ( he's knocked off a few debts is all so far), I await to see what he really can do for us....
  6. See you 2017/18- twice at least.Nah not on a wind-up as you know, can't be bothered.Respect to the few that actually praised our efforts. I ain't got the foggiest about the new owner though we will find out soon enough. Wouldn't need too many additions though league 1 is a porker to get out of as you know....
  7. Look matey- I tried, when coming on to this forum to have a sensible piece of interaction- If you put Kodjia in the same bracket as Aguero- fine. But really more than that stuff- why do you put all Rovers fans in the same bracket of us saying we are rich, have more away fans, yours saying we punch horses as if it were a weekly event (your hooligan record is far worse by the way)... that's the kids talking and yes they are embarrassing. I did get a few sensible replies to posts I made before but it's fairly obvious the 'pack mentality' prevails here- and yes, it' does on our forums too, and in most I'd bet. I'll bid you well... and look forward to tomorrow and promotion... SA gas....
  8. Well- in the unlikely event I have the time- I'll look through your 21,000 plus posts and see if you can be taken seriously.
  9. For god's sake - do you honestly I think I am actually going to take that 'rant' to heart- says more about your own personal gripe with what other Rovers fans have said - aim your pathetic comments to yourself or those whom YOU personally know who made them.. I never did..do I 'protest' ...no...am I 'hurting inside' no... have I said that our chairman isn't the 6th richest man in the planet on YOUR forum...YES... May I suggest 20 milligrams of valium and a pair of reading glasses...
  10. I do not lie mate..not in my DNA or upbringing..can't speak for other Rovers fans but have to admit you have given me the biggest laugh in ages regarding Kodjia...
  11. There we go again, another stereotypical assumption that all us Rovers fans think the chairman is going to spend millions...I don't for a moment. He's a businessman and will take his cut where he can..now where that comes from who knows. We'll have to go up first, and then there won't be any more income to pick the bones from. As for Taylor v's kodjia- close call, Taylor seems to be getting better all the time, and as you are the only 'billiionaires' outside the premier league no doubt you'd offer for him..cost you a few camels mind....
  12. Definately a bloke mate! I do think the vocal viral idiocy comes from the younger element of our support...personally as a 50 year old guy who did my fisticuffs/nonsense in the late 70/s/early eighties...my interest in interaction with fans of yours or ours has to be of a level of that which lends itself to serious and sensible debate...
  13. 'just the other 95%'- I think that would be 80 if all were totally honest about it- 40k will go if we happen to meet pompey in the play-off final though- the crowds ARE going up even if we suffer a dump of a stadium...
  14. Some of ours- not me...we took 28k to wembley...are nowhere near the 6th richest club, there were no city at the mem v mansfield. So you see, we are not all deluded.
  15. you got the wrong meaning.... in a sense- I allude to the reasoning that throwing meaningless barbs/insults amounts to petty bickering....too easy to do and becomes very boring very quickly...
  16. What disturbs me most is the fact that a Bristol City fan lives on the same road as I do.... thought Hartcliffe and similarly undesirable areas were more your thing... That's fair enough mate and I agree with that. I do think though that the more rational City fans, and Rovers too should in a sense fly the flag for Bristol- bit of a joke when we have a right go at each other- not as if it's west ham and spurs or whatever...
  17. What disturbs me most is the fact that a Bristol City fan lives on the same road as I do.... thought Hartcliffe and similarly undesirable areas were more your thing... Sorry, the 'deluded' comments may apply to some Rovers fans, but it may disturb you to know that many of us are aware of where we stand vis a vis our'rivalry'. It annoys me that any of our fans are stupid enough to even comment on Bristol City, I know we are the smaller club (or 'blue few' in your parlance)- but be assured there are many of us who are not stupid or wanting a needless cyber fight. The best that can happen is to finally see some derby games again-hope it happens sooner rather than later.....
  18. What disturbs me most is the fact that a Bristol City fan lives on the same road as I do.... thought Hartcliffe and similarly undesirable areas were more your thing...
  19. What!? wouldn't offend my newly aquired camel to graze in those places...and shouldn't you be in Milton Keynes? Ah, of course not...you are playing away..now excuse me whilst I untether aforementioned camel, don my fez and watch a real football team
  20. without either of the owners of city or rovers, there is a lot more money in north bristol than south...try taking an objective stroll around the neighbourhoods...
  21. To quote Blackdadder 'god can be very cruel sometimes' - don't mind a bit of paint- but seems the almighty knows whats right- city going down, us going up- sainsburys or not!
  22. Unfortunately, I see City staying up too (banter lads!)- we could well go up as well. Whatever, I am pretty sure none of the gas would stoop so low as to paint the gates of Ashton Gate as I'm told some City idiots did (red obviously) recently at the mem... spelling is awful here... vandAlised....
