  1. Unfortunately, I see City staying up too (banter lads!)- we could well go up as well. Whatever, I am pretty sure none of the gas would stoop so low as to paint the gates of Ashton Gate as I'm told some City idiots did (red obviously) recently at the mem...
  2. 'self absorbed ' - Mr. Cotterill? Let's reconvene after the weekends games...
  3. Trust me - I am far better looking than that man, and not so stupid as to shout my gob off-deluded? IQ 158 - not all lof us Gas are thick!
  4. Trust me - I am far better looking than that man, and not so stupid as to shout my gob off-deluded? IQ 158 - not all of us Gas are thick! The best schools are, of course, on our side of the city....
  5. No you didn't ever. And there seems to be a few here who seem to know my identity as in some bloke from kingswood - don't even know where that is- st andrews resident and proud to live somewhere decent....
  6. Sorry mate - I was there, and will be next season in our league 1 derbys, just a dig. I have no reason to distort the truth- nor to be a middle-aged gasser wanting to wind you lot up -you do very well all by yourselves on that score. Believe it or not, I hope City stay up and think you will- its in the best interests of the whole place if there are two teams performing well. I do think however you lot underestimate the passion with which we follow our team- I can assure you other fans do not...seasons greetings...
  7. 'came in from the right hand side as you look at the tote' from the car park then, the left side-impossible. You don't have a clue mate as it was impossible to get in from the north enclosure which was actually the right side. look- I'll leave you all to continue being in denial....of being in denial. See you in,league 1 next season, the BRISTOL SPORT THING? Like your dreams, will fade and die... UTG!
  8. mate- chelsea 'took' the tote at 2pm when there were only a bunch of spotty teenagers in there- tried again at kick-off and got battered when the main mob had come in from the pubs,,check it out on you tube, don't have to believe me. As for glos cup, no don't remember city in the tote, in any numbers anyway- I do remember the east end being battered though - the exact year not sure but 73,74 half an hour before kick-off...
  9. that old chestnut...whilst you are it look at the panorama programme (millwall) on you tube where harry the dog and his fellow reprobates got their come-uppance in the Tote End on film - don't forget to read the comments underneath from their fans..actually |I will admit, a city mob finished them off at a 'Clash' concert later that day...
  10. you tube 1980 bristol rovers v chelsea - check it out - you obviously weren't that close! And check the comments from Chelsea fans - not just Rovers....
  11. of course you were, took the tote end single- handedly- robbed the hot dog stand, machine-gunned your telephone number into the remnants of the corrugated iron, popped the box of chocs by the flower beds behind the goal for the city keeper and legged it back to your cave in BS3 for cheap cider and medals....
  12. Shame there isn't any video to back your claim- just hoping we can have a couple of derbys next year..not looking improbable right now...
  13. 60's I don't know- started going in '72 and was in the tote end every time we played city and never was the end taken - from '72 at least- unlike the East End- '75.
  14. Have to admit the windass thing is a bit of a disaster PR wise- not that it would matter I hear you say. But a line has to be drawn by the p"""k above - Bristol City have never, ever 'terrorised or took over' the old Tote End - Millwall, Chelsea couldn't and your lot never ever got near.....
  15. Mate, believe it or not - I actually want City to do well, - I am all for anything Bristol being successful , just happen to support Rovers....
  16. And 6,423 people with more brain cells than you have....
  17. But we'll always be us and you will be you... we are not going anywhere soon and neither are you, well league 1 apart perhaps,,
  18. we are always coming for you - we will, for the moment, rejoice in looking at league 1, 2 tables.'here's hoping we draw you lot in f.a. cup that would be just beautiful....
  19. yep- don't forget where you had to come from suddenly......
  20. serious comment- I don't doubt we will have financial hardships and those are what we are used to- but we love the club and many of us are prepared to have a reasonable conversstion about Bristol football, just very difficult with you lot- pewrsonally I'd just love to have a derby game - miss those a lot...
  21. That's relatively polite! not here for a bitch, but look forward to playing you in league 1 season after next. You will have a shiny new stadium - we won't.
