  6. I know nothing about Kal Naismith other than what I’ve read on this thread, but he seems like a good signing - versatile, experienced and has played well in our league. It’s good to see us getting some business done early.

  11. Flint was immense for us and has had a good career. Presumably he’ll drift down the leagues now as he gets older, but good luck to him.

    RIP Tinners

    Very sad news. RIP Martin.
  13. That’s horrible. He was a very classy centre back. Hope he gets through this.

  16. I agree. I’ve got nothing against LJ, and I’m glad to see he’s got another job. And they’ve got a manager who’s got quite a lot of experience now at different clubs. It’ll be interesting to see how he gets on up there.
  17. Yep, I remember it being 34 too. He got a hat-trick in that Crewe game from what I recall, including a long distance volley. He scored some amazing goals. I was gutted when he was sold.
  18. COD always came across really well in interviews etc, but as a footballer his career at City was indifferent. He had many attributes (pace, athleticism, skill) but never fulfilled his potential and rarely affected games enough. Definitely the right time for him to move on and best of luck to him.
  19. McInnes had a tough job at City, with the club being in a mess, but he signed some truly awful players too - the likes of Foster, Wilson and Bates. That relegation season started well, as has been mentioned in other posts, but by the time of that Leicester game (was it a 4-0 defeat? It was horrendous, anyway) it felt like Del’s time was up and the crowd had started to turn against him.
  20. Welcome to Bristol City, Mark! Good to see we are getting some business done early.
