    They honestly believe this shit

There are many things to dislike about the sags, but their nauseating self regard is the worst of them.

Something about them being the only club in the league that no-one actually cares about and he was hysterical that they seemed to be sponsored by the snack van in the corner of the ground when they had 'Bradshaws Snack Box' on their shirts!

    Wahey!

Be fair, they've gone up in the world since then. They're now sponsored by a back street boozer.

These figures won't be entirely accurate admittedly but it certainly shows their not worth anywhere near what SL is worth... These figures basically show that after liabilities they are worth a measly 61million... No where near the billions they are banging on about!!

Well if that's true they might be able to clear the immediate debts but will still be reliant on selling to Sainsbury's or borrowing from their own bank in order to fund the stadium.

A good first half performance with no real cutting edge.  Wilbraham didn't have the best of times in the first 45 and Agard would have been more helpful to Kodjia.

QPR woke up at half time and Phillips was a real danger, and we were weaker.  Their goal was undeserved but exemplifies the clinical nature of games in this division, something we have to emulate.

We took a while to get going but when we finally made a substitution started to get on top again and the team goal was great.  Good to see Freeman starting to return to form (long way off his best still but improved).  Kodjia and Smith stood out for me for good reasons and Pack had a horrible game.

The ref was at least consistent in never giving even the most blatant of fouls and it probably made the game more watchable.  The time wasting was annoying as was persisting for too long in the second half without making changes (nothing new there though).

I was very surprised to hear that SL said in an interview there's nothing planned yet for January, that's a travesty.  We need a quality central midfielder, a striker and a keeper walking in the door on Jan 1st as far as I'm concerned.

Good point in the end but we need to get more than that on average to stay up.

Hopefully after the pre season debacle SL is learning to keep is cards close to his chest! We shall see.

of course you were, took the tote end single- handedly- robbed the hot dog stand, machine-gunned your telephone number into the remnants of the corrugated iron, popped the box of chocs by the flower beds behind the goal for the city keeper and legged it back to your cave in BS3  for cheap cider and medals....

Sorry to disappoint you but I only went in the ToteEnd twice. Once for the fireworks display and once for the speedway.

60's I don't know- started going in '72 and was in the tote end every time we played city and never was the end taken - from '72 at least- unlike the East End- '75.

    60s I don't know...well there's a bit of a flaw in your argument isn't there old boy?

Aww, he looks so happy holding this scarf....check out the joy on his face...not.

Anything to stop being molested for 5 minutes. It's like the scene from an episode of 'I'm Alan Partridge' when Alan suddenly realises he's been led into a trap by an unhinged stalker.

No doubt that photo of windass on the wall is a permanent fixture at the mem.

Windass goal won the most lucrative game in world football. A game they could only dream about being in. Daniel sent them to semi professional level. A few of our fans presented Daniel with a bottle of champagne in a jovial way. They pay Windass to talk at their home ground.

    even their banter is tinpot.

Is Windass skint or something? From scoring the winner in a Wembley play off final to playing the court jester for an audience of drooling sags. Quite a comedown.

"With our fan base and planning permission for a 22,000 seat stadium on the outskirts of the city, the club is potentially an attractive proposition for investors."

    Clutching at straws there.

The club that hasn't had a five figure average home attendance for over 40 years. Massive potential.

Does anybody know what state the Memorial ground stadium is in?

I've not been there but from clips of the games (by their entertaining blogger) it looks pretty old but I didn't know how bad it was; I remember the state of the Goldstone Ground away for a midweeker before Brighton moved ground; it was crumbling with huge sections roped off for safety reasons.

As The New Stadium has been the goal for a few years they will have done the absolute minimum maintenance so I was wondering how the stands are holding up.

The ironic thing about the Mem is that despite it's utter crapness most of it isn't actually that old. The side stands were built by the rugby club in the 80s and 90s and the archaic looking clubhouse end was built by the sags after they moved in.

**** Notts *****! They are a nothing joke of a club, even their near neighbours barely a few hundred yards away think they are irrelevant.

They are a nothing club, it's forest who matter around that way. They will never go anywhere accept down. Forest on the other hand got better stadium better set up better fans. County are just a poor excuse and live in their neighbours shadows and will for ever.

ummm at the risk of getting hammered, the last couple of lines can be very much applied to us.

    It all can.

Sags criticizing Meadow Lane. They could only dream etc....
