I'll sound really negative but don't want to be too harsh at the same time. We had a great window and are playing good football. It's ok to expect to beat teams like Rotherham. I think we are as good as most teams in this division and yes we are still gelling but the level of dominance today should have gotten us more. It doesn't always have to be happy about everything. I'm glad we got something and they done well to get a point being two down but we need to put teams like this away early and go for the jugular. A point with SW away and Derby at home in the next week isn't the best as its going to be much harder to get points from. So 3 points was needed today. Im sure the errors will be corrected. So I'm happy for the point but I think we needed 3 and I expected it. I wasn't there but think Flint is feeling pressure with Ekstrand now pushing him more than anyone else would've the past 3 years? I don't know if he played well or recovered from the early mistake so genially asking. Also I'd seriously consider fining and suspending Tomlin for this dissent rubbish. Maybe it's frustrations that it isn't going as well for him now? Tbf, he was a star for a mid table team last year. Is it unfair to expect the same in a team with quite a bit more fire power now? Kodjia is gone but I still fancy us to score more this year

Completely different half obviously. Pushed Bobby forward and Joe. Looked 4141 and we were a force. LJ always does good by us. First half was weird. Looked slow and in awe a bit. Second half it was the type of football that makes me optimistic we will be top 8. I don't like questioning the heart of the boys but 50/50 balls they'd look at each other and no one reacted. Second half we were everywhere before they could process it. Bad first half and learning experience. Lovely day

You could look at these fixtures both ways really. We are catching these teams not as finished articles. However, we aren't either. We've signed what 6?7? New players. Many for the first team. We aren't up to speed just like they aren't. It's why I'm optimistic for the season. Think we could be a wildcard to push for a playoff spot. I don't expect it but at the same time, I don't know how good we can be. We are still an unknown. These 3 games I think, regardless of result, show us how good we can be. Come out today with respect like we did against Newcastle and Norwich then I'm still just as positive. So the point I'm trying to make, is that I don't think you can even say our result so far suggest mid table. I would argue it suggest a bit better. Top 8 I'd say as an unfinished article. Burton looks like a better result now. Losing by 1 to the two favourites for winning the league isn't awful with a new squad. Like I said, I won't expect top 8 but I think our form so far suggest a bit better than mid table. It's a long year though. Can't wait

I have a Villa supporting mate and he's always been quite cheery even with their year last year. Exchanged talks about our teams and Nathan Baker. Then yesterday an exchange on Facebook made me really hate their fans. So cocky and arrogant because of their name. They've got no clue about the league and how tough it is. Quite funny from a team who's wins in 2016 you can count on one hand. They've got talent no doubt but they haven't got the bottle to battle in this league. I see no personalities that can be up for the fight. He was offended when I said I don't think they'll go up but finish 9th or 10th and that we'd be in the same ballpark. That he'd bet everything he owned that they'd finish above city. Now they could be favourites to do so and it wouldn't be a surprise but as a neutral, could you do it? The blind faith in the name of a club is so maddening. So yes, I hope we teach them a lesson today. The result won't matter much to me as long as it is close though. Couldn't stand a battering at the hands of those arrogant <insert choice of name here>. Looking forward to this one. COYR!!

And Newcastle play at home tomorrow night. One less day rest and a long trip down here. Can't hurt our chances though they've got the squad to deal with it. I'd be happy with 2 points from our next two. Not easy games and they'll be coming together sooner rather than later. Though Villa still having trouble winning

I'd imagine you'd have to offer £10m or more plus bonuses, sell ons, and potential buy back clauses before that would be considered. Chelsea think as highly of TA as we do, if not more. By all accounts this loan deal was done and that Conte was impressed with Abraham enough to take him on their preseason tour.

It's weird we played it for me. Played it some in Spain and we were poor. Think it's getting overthought a bit just to play Tammy. He's had a good start but Kodjia still our main man and has played with the lads for more than a week. The adrenaline will have worn off a bit for Tammy. Should've been 4-5-1 with O'Dowda and Tomlin on the wings and Bobby Reid behind Kodjia. O'Neil and Pack holding. Those front 4 is all the attack you should need against Burton with O'Neil getting forward here and there.
