Most Somerset fans have a problem with him due to 2013 incident with Trego. Batty actually received a ban for that particular incident! He’s always been cocky, arrogant and smug. Was at Edgebaston a few years ago and watched him turn around and tell a bloke to **** off in front of a bunch of school children. Admittedly the bloke had been laughing at him for dropping a catch but he couldn’t keep his cool. Final against Glos a few years ago he went into the game thinking he’d won it already. Had an argument with fans at Worcestershire a few years ago too

In his defence he was 21 years old and had India, Bangladesh and South Africa away tours back to back to back. Hard to think of many youngsters who have gone over there and batted well. He's probably better than his numbers suggest I see Markram got a duck for Durham, but that wicket looks to be an absolute mess up there.

Jesus, what an appalling scorecard for Somerset. 3 in double figures! It's a good job Leach managed to stay around for a few overs to get Renshaw his ton. Providing the wicket isn't great and Renshaw just batted brilliantly on it, this could be a good opportunity for a win for you lot I think. They've not got too much in the batting department...

If Jove spent less time in the pub and conditioning his body he'd probably be better than Cove. Just my two pennies worth on that one though.

That's because of this years schedule. There's a 3 week break in the middle of May to early to mid June where there is no CC. He isn't playing the shorter format of the game so no point in him hanging around here. South Africa likely to arrive in Sri Lanka 20th July (roughly) and presume he will want a couple of weeks at home with his family before that tour that begins August 1, which at best leaves him free for 2 CC games. Probably not worth the money
