I understand. You could say Mebude was a loan to view if he's any good. He's not, so nothing lost. TGH was signed on loan under Pearson no? He's been injured a bit and Knight Williams/James has been in form so no need to break them up but provides good competition/cover at worst.

Twine is another loan to see if he's good enough. If he really enjoys his loan that could knock a few grand a week off any wages demands. Fee yes would be expensive.

It will be an interesting summer with regards to transfer targets!

Mebude has hardly played competitively since joining, plus was out of favour in Belgium. Just odd.

TGH, was a Pearson signing but played under Pearson.

Twine, Manning worked with him and we can see how he was at Burnley and Hull previously. Wouldn't of been cheap to loan in, and he won't take a pay cut if he doesn't need to (it's a job at the end of the day, would you?).

If however, SL, JL, BT, etc didn't get on with Pearson for whatever reason, surely they would have been less inclined to financially support him with players, etc whereas if they like & support Manning they will give him what he wants/needs ala LJ? This last bit isn't in anything in relation to what you said @Selred just my lunchtime ramblings!

This would worry me. Under Pearson I'm confident 80% of our signings would of been good. Under Manning, not so sure.

    Mebude, never plays.

TGH, signed but doesn't feature as much now.

Twine, expensive to remain mid table.

Look, its far from perfect, but if you get so down about a draw and forget all the other results around it, then thats on you, nobody else.

This is the irony. I also pointed out the poor 6 games prior to our unbeaten run.

Overall under Manning are we going in the right direction? Taking in his full period, no. Are we pretty static? Yes.

Nah, its a load of rubbish.

    Very negative there Tim!

    I don't see how it's unfair.

I know from how difficult a background Dele came and how well he did despite that but he has entirely lost it now.

That's the parallel, he has no future in higher league football because of his own actions.

Let's see. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at someone like Luton next season (doing a Barkley)

There is no way back for these players and they bumble around the non league being the big fish in the small pond, a future which I expect awaits Delli Ali.

That's unfair. Dele has made it to the VERY top, against all the odds. He's had many many struggles but you don't get to where he is / was without the right attitude. Unfortunately demons have caught up with him, but so different to Bakinson.

  6. Went back in 2014 (?). Enjoyed it!

We had about 5 days in Varadero (the beach part) which was lovely. We also did the 3 Cities trip whilst staying in Varadero, so we had a taxi driver take us to Santa Clara, Trinidad and Cienfuegos. Really different, Santa Clara is where Che Guevara is buried.

Then went onto Havana. Did a cigar factory tour, as well as Havana Club tour.

I bought some cigars out there, you can buy them "unofficially" from the tour guides at the factory.

Havana is really safe, they are very keen on keeping tourists happy.

Food not up to much, it's not like e.g. Jamaica or Barbados where it's packed with flavour.

The advert claims that it’s simply plugs into your tv and it gives access to all subscriptions including Sky Sports free of charge. As I said it seems too good to true and that’s why I’ve asked on here if anyone has any experience of using one.

Lots of posters know far more about the internet and tv technology than I do.

Nothing is free Robbored. But some people may pay £40 annual subscription for Sky Sports, Robins TV, Netflix, Amazon etc etc.

Or even easier an actual smart TV?

PS You don't need a "special" stick or chipped paid for firestick to view anymore either

Do you not? I thought you did, so I have two.

Seen this advertised on several platforms and it looks very tempting. Almost too good to true………:cool2:  Has anyone got one or know anything about it?

I believe you mean a firestick?  But a special one?
