Have a read from the start and you will see a link with all the information you require

To my knowledge, correct me if I'm wrong.

    - Some posters DM'ed Admins asking for ex players to become it's own forum.

    - Admins decided to do this

    - If people want it to change back, there's no route to do so. It's been decided and that's that. No polls or feedback matter, the decision is made based on unknown amount of requests, by known posters.

    Correct?

I think those that are not paying a subscription to the forum should have any input to things affecting the forum. They should simply be ignored.

    Pay up or shut up.

But equally those paying should have an input IMO.

There was debate, see the link above.

An agreement was reached at the time

Who agreed? Just admin? Can the forum users who pay not have an input?

The link above was a debate AFTER it moved. You should of got opinions and polls before, so it's a forum decision not just admin.

For goodness sake it's not a personal decision by me, it was stated why it wasn't changed and a suggestion was agreed on

As much as you and others try and turn this into trying to make me be solely responsible the other admin discussed it, and a solution was agreed

There's nothing else to say on the matter as it is resolved

This is exactly the thing, who decides it's resolved? Why is there no debate on it?

Yourself, other admins, whoever. The issue is there was no debate, discussion or trial. It was decided and you're not open to considering other options.

There is already a poll at the top of the previous thread that phantom has highlighted above.

Less than 1 in 4 stated a preference for continuing with a separate ex-players and managers forum.

But Phantom in the thread dismissed the poll. Not sure why though, as you say it's almost 1 in 5 supporting keeping it separate.

Much a prefer a steady Eddie, someone you know will give you 7 or 8 out of 10 every week. That was Maenpaa.

O'Leary has been excellent in our cup ties, now calamitous. Unfortunately for him, the die is cast - he could have a dozen good games in a row but never shake the feeling that a cock up is just round the corner.

So it's a No from me. On balance.

Max was shocking in the first half against West Ham. All over the place.

Don’t allow one amazing save clog your memory of that.

I am going to take a slightly different angle. Purely from a personal view, if it was me, I wouldn't want to live in north west England anymore.

In fact I would never move there, but taking the money into account and the prestige job, I can see why he went there. It's just that at some point in your life, you want to wake up to blue skies, maybe some sea or mountains and a Mediterranean diet, not grey skies, bricks and meat pies.

Not a great theory, but if Mrs K has any say in it that might add some weight.

I have no idea who will replace him but if I was him I would be looking at a nice job in southern France or Spain.

Bloke is earning a wedge. Not sure he'll be having meat pies!

Not when you're a ToteEnder. Most of them don't even realise it's not actually there anymore.

Stuck in the past. Like 1982. The past. We've moved on. They're still stuck, very jealous and very very bitter.

Yes, we don't chant Eastenders in our South Stand...

  9. Surely Rovers didn't post this job spec: https://www.fish4.co.uk/job/15758607/financial-controller/

Bristol Rovers Football Club (BRFC) dates back to 1883, following a meeting of five young men at a restaurant on Stapleton Road, in the Eastville district of the city. Since then, we’ve won the Gloucestershire Cup 32 times, the Third Division South Cup in 1932, the Watney Cup in 1972 and have been Football League Trophy finalists twice.

Do you ever go to the areas outside AG? There's loads of them!

Yes, I literally just said we have them. Although personally find them a bit dull (burgers etc), bring back the Mexican van IMO.

Anyway my main point is it's not a stick to beat Rovers with, it's a good thing!

We also have food vans outside our stadium?

I'm all for getting different types of food at games, especially independent companies. Beats soggy chips and tasteless pasties.

Something I'd actually praise Rovers for, clearly bloody good if they need to make social posts about it too!
