  1. With the shambles in the boardroom it shows what an absolute gent Nigel is. Bloke could walk at any time, but is staying, has worked under tight restrictions and done wonders. Fair play to him!
  2. Perhaps the role is purely football orientated, hence the nod to those two? We know from the supporters club that ‘Bristol Sport’ do everything else, and don’t give City much flex. Maybe he felt powerless in his role that he could make any difference beyond Nigel and Tins?
  3. Hasn’t he been advising the club already?
  4. Bit short term sighted. Especially if we continue with cost cutting, it’ll eventually show on the pitch
  5. Just reading on another thread that Alexander is gone. Either resigned / dismissed. Deserves its own thread. Would show what a shambles we are at the top. Perhaps due to goal posts continually changing on the football front? (Thinking Scott money etc).
  6. I'm more alarmed by the sunglasses and backwards cap than how dark the shirt is!
  7. Personally not sure how I feel about it. Bloke is an actor, not a broadcaster so in my opinion he's getting the job because of his name. Feels like he's taking the chance away from others.
  8. Thanks @phantom for sharing the details and also answering peoples follow ups here. You get a lot of questions, and sometimes some unfair slack, but wanted to say how much I appreciate these updates.
  9. Watch Bristol City now use this messaging to promote kits. "Bloody Fantastic" @GrahamC
  10. Love to see it! In my opinion City should be in the blood, passed down generation to generation (otherwise no one would actively choose to support us!!)
  11. Why doesn't your son support the City?
  12. Bears will be fine. Got some good players and play good rugby. Ladies no clue. City will be mid table.
  13. For context was Bears youth vs an almost full strength Exeter.
  14. I think there’s 3 things in play. 1) Rovers attempt, failure, whatever you want to call it was ambitious. And nothing to really laugh at, well until it fell through which was hilarious. 2) We are in a different league in many ways, but we’ve not shown ambition similar since Kalas (revising my previous comment with Freeman) 3) We have £26 million in fees received since we’ve last signed a player permanently, it’s embarrassing we’ve not signed anyone to replace Scott and are in a worse state transfer wise than Rovers. They are aiming for play offs in their league, we are aiming to stay up in ours, there’s the difference in ambition.
  15. For the division. It’s all relative. All those millions, how much did we make on Fammy, Kalas, Dasilva?
  16. Ah didn’t realise Famara won the Championship golden boot twice when we signed him! Kalas as I later clarified could be agreed as a top proven championship player. Still was 4 years ago.
  17. It’s not though. I know it’s Rovers but you can just credit them sometimes, or equally in this case just laugh it’s fallen through. It would of been an ambitious signing for them, I’d of liked us with the Scott money to of been similar. we move.
  18. Signing JCH would of been ambitious for Rovers. Especially for that fee. It would of been their biggest ever signing, spend wise but also quality wise
  19. Agree on JCH. Don’t know your squad. Absolutely disagree on Pearson
  20. Yes it is different. But god knows why we are criticising Rovers for it, he’s a bloody good signing. I’d love a glamour signing like him right now, we’ve just got £25m for Scott and signed no one since (well TGH on loan). We can’t really be laughing at Rovers for this singing.
