Is Murphy injured already? I haven’t seen one clip of him at City yet since signing, he hasn’t played any youth games just seems odd because they made quite a bigger deal with his announcement than the Guernsey boys.

I think so too, just think Burnley don’t really need to sell him currently and he could be of use to them next season if relegated so any fee we’re going to pay is going to be slightly overpriced for them to accept.

I think 3 million and some sort of % of a future selling fee should do it.

I can’t see him being a regular starter there myself (think they have players at AFCON, so useful squad option) but as others have pointed out the family home is near & I reckon Corberan probably knows more about football than you or me.

Wasn’t digging him out or anything it’s just a surprise move which no one seen coming that’s all, agree with all the things you said about him.

Not sure why West Brom would want him but a good deal for everyone involved. 

Never been his biggest fan but he won me over with his 20 goal season a few years back and been a good servant for us , good luck Andi.

He’s 34 soon and just like Weimann and James the pace of championship football is catching up with them. Manning knows that too which is why they all find themselves out of the team. We need more mobility and pace in our team to take the next step in my opinion.

We are the one of the slowest, weakest and least creative attacking unit in the league it’s actually pathetic. Needs a good 3 attacking players brought in with pace and creativity or we will continue to suffer against poor opposition like Birmingham and Millwall. Time to move on players like James and Weimann good servants but clearly their best days are behind them.

That game highlights our need for a creative midfielder and physical striker. Birmingham were awful so that’s 2 points dropped for sure. We just never looked like scoring at all.

Clarke will be back in the premier league next season that’s for sure.

Was surprised to see Roberts has 0 goals and 1 assists this season he’s a player I always enjoy watching. Similar to Mehmeti but beats his man more often.

What I’d do to have Clarke and Roberts on the wings for us! Their technical ability is ridiculous.

I just cannot for the life of me understand that last double substitution!! Knight and Sykes so involved in everything good about that second half then he takes them off for our two most erratic players taking any chance of a equaliser away from us!

That is almost disgusting from Manning actively harmed our chances of a result then

We are truly pathetic , what an embarrassingly soft set of players we have, as I type Williams has just chipped it out of play again 30 yards away from any yellow shirt! 

We’re in a relegation battle this season with all the teams at the bottom slowly improving and closing the gap.

We are so bad in possession it’s actually baffling, we have zero composure we are erratic on the ball, Portsmouth and Bolton last night looked 5x better than us!

The quality of player at this club is shocking to be honest it’s very painful to watch every week.

Weimann Tanner Bell all shocking performances!

Why did he play Tanner so far forward and Pring CB in possession?

Why did he put Sykes back on the left when our best moments came when he switched to the right on 30 minutes?

Why is Weimann anywhere near the starting 11?

Why did he play Mehmeti on the right and Bell on the left?

So many things today that confused me I think Manning needs to simplify things and play players in roles where they are suited.

2nd best defence in the league (yes really) vs 2nd worst defence.

They’re a bit all over the place at the minute and it’s a game we should win I think , I’ll go 2-1 win.

That was very poor. Pring having a tough game up against Smyth, we’re too laboured in possession especially James getting caught a couple of times as he doesn’t have the agility to turn quick enough with the ball.

We really need to learn how to break lines when attacking and not just passing around teams side to side hoping a chance will present itself.

We are short on a creative midfielder clearly but it’s 3 points and that was most important today. 

That senior player comment is surely a dig at Tinnion. They’ve definitely had a fall out.
