We need someone who can break the lines with passes in midfield hence Naismith there which only really leaves Pring or Roberts to play CB which I’d be happy with.

Zero creativity from midfield until Naismith come on who I thought was brilliant made that Wells chance all from his good work, very lightweight up front and no real idea how to break teams down. A creative midfielder is an absolute must to bring in and a physical striker too but I know that’s never happening.

Vyner was well off it today and also Sam Bell who apart from the cross to Wells everything he did looked so clumsy and out of control. Hopefully just an off day for him.

I think we may need a striker!

Yeh it was after that but I’ve sorted it now I think you have to be on the account on which you purchased the ticket to be able to send it on.

Anyone else having problems forwarding a ticket? The ‘forward ticket’ option is greyed out and I can’t click it for some reason.

We look solid, don’t really look like scoring though and a couple of really odd decisions from Wells in the final third taking way too long on the ball.

Completely different role in a different formation , he’s not the man to pick up spaces in the pockets and get his head up quickly and make the right passes. I like Weimann just not in this particular role in a 433. His strengths are in behind the defence imo.

We absolutely need to replace him with another creative attacking midfielder, someone like Scott Twine or Finn Azaz. Knight isn’t that profile and I can’t take much more of Weimann trying to play that role.

Can’t help but feel that’s Pearson current ‘second’ team, with Scott included due to a near transfer. Only one that doesn’t maybe add up is Dickie as you feel he has to be starting against Preston.

Pathetic not beating them, Scott’s final ball was terrible tonight, and how many times did they simply walk through the soft tackles of James and King in the middle!?

King’s legs are very visibly shot, need more depth in CM next season if we want to be consistently competitive, they were on top last quarter of the game due to a real lack of energy and mobility in the middle.

Antoine in particular a shadow of himself last season just can’t sort his feet out at all.

This a pathetic performance, teams have worked us out up front and we cannot even put 3 passes together without Naismith breaking lines from the back. King far too cautious with his passing. This season going downhill very fast.
