  1. I'm glad I've seen as many glum and pissed off faces on those who matter in the Directors Box as those who share those emotions in the crowd and on OTIB.
  2. Tonight's performance got me thinking back to when LJ was appointed and a Barnsley fan posted on here something along the lines of "Be prepared for a run forward and then two passes backwards" and my favourite "Players resembling Crabs in their movement". Now as any loyal supporter would do I put it down to the usual dogs testicles that is espoused by a rival. Except for tonight, there in all its glory the Crab Men appeared on the pitch in front of me (I've been drinking but I had to just to get through it) We've been declining for the past few games now even with the sparse ray of light in a win (2 in 10 is it?) I'm certainly not a 'Boo' boy and not in the burn the contract and start looking for a replacement camp but there needs to be some real scrutiny of what LJ is slowly trying to achieve in the interim. I get the patience, I understand that we are a work in progress, I know we've got to make our way through the next few transfer windows, I'm happy with progress on last season etc etc, however what's being served up is poor. I'm an eternal optimist so I'll carry on believing blah blah blah. Its just a bit same old that's all.
  3. ''Twas I Bert, several times told by those inside the tent (no pun intended) and by associates in the City who laughed 'El Presidenté' out of the square mile. Great Panto analogy and especially relevant for this time of year....I would wager that the proverbial will hit the fan when Dopey walks, as the corner he's backing himself into (rightly so I believe) will see no materialisation of any transfer funds of note.... Dopey knows he's been sold a pup; Leeds were calling and he would have stood to make a tidy sum even if he lasted to the ink getting dry on the contract.
  4. Fair point, parking in Brighton is a nightmare too
  5. "The Miracle is Mine".....my favourite Eurosong entry ever by Father Dick Byrne.
  6. Try, 'Having the necessary funds available to pay for it'..... Then I would expect that the UWE will be happy
  7. Didn't expect a win tonight and obviously didn't get one but the performance was garbage. Says a lot when the best cross of the night comes from your striker. Brighton were fitter, faster and stronger, we were left with players blowing out of their ass and could have been totally humiliated if the numerous chances they had were converted. Magnusson was decent...that's my only positive thing I'll take from the game. Tomlin, love him to bits but he just goes missing for large parts of the game and with it goes any decent outlet we have. Oneill, dogshit of a game and if that's his worst performance of the season then so be it. Little, well god loves a trier and I applaud him for doing so but we really need a RB in January as Matthews appears to have 'Toure-itis'.
  8. "Billionaire Jordanian owner" Has to be a close second...,
  9. Better stay away from the stables then. At least you can sleep safe in the knowledge that you have a billionaire owner who can bankroll your push to the Champions League.
