Why is Coventry stadium so bare?
It's got to be one of the bleakest stadiums + surroundings in the whole football league

Can we get Alex Scott back please

I wouldn't mind half the perceived problems he seems to think they have, that's the trouble with a lot of supporters of top-end Premier League clubs they don't know what it's like to support and I use this term lightly a proper club who don't expect to win every game, and that makes it all the sweeter when we do achieve some success. He does come across as less entitled than a lot of fans I could name of certain clubs, and yes Villa fans I do mean you.
To be fair to West Ham, they've had their peaks and troughs as well. They're hardly Liverpool or Arsenal

Disappointing not to win but not to lose when not playing well is a bonus.
Win Monday and jobs a goodun. Not great for the people I went I’d imagine.
Most boring match in a while

That was a really smart pass from Knight
-
Birmingham making so many mistakes
-
Unbelievable miss from Mehmeti, but we are well in control so far. Dickie having a good game so far. Birmingham look like a team that are struggling.

Happened last game. It’s a pain. You have to put it on full screen. That usually does it.
Its muted by default. You have to click the volume icon in the bottom left

Fantastic win! Both the goals from open play came from cutting inside off the wing. We should do that more often, rather than crossing aimless balls into the box time after time

If cornick's going down there looking for a penalty, he needs to sort his decision making out

Oh the luxury of being able to send squad players out on loan,I guess you have a master plan who is going to replace him
When was the last first team we sent out on loan? It must have been a while

Tanner lucky not to concede a penalty there

I just don't see what Weimann adds to the team anymore. He's not scoring, doesn't set goals up.

Sorry but we really need a new keeper. O Leary is not capable playing out from the back
We've got bigger problems than the keeper tbf

One thing we're doing that we didn't do under Pearson which I'm loving, diagonal low balls into the box with players running behind the backline. We've played around 3-4 so far in the first ten minutes and it's causing real problems for Huddersfield. If we can keep that in our game and mix it up with some direct low passes into the middle as well I think we could create much better chances regularly.
Was just about to write the same - the quick through balls are working well. Unfortunately we don't seem to be the best at scoring from crosses.

He looked good. The best I’d seen. Definitely a player there for me still, hopefully Manning can get it out of him as his output so far has been below what we could’ve all expected.
Fingers crossed. Would love him to hit a decent bit of form!

Wow, have i read that right... i think we played pretty well tonight and after just 3 games i can already see what Manning wants us to do which after nearly 3 years i couldn't see under Nige.
We have just competed very well against a Prem team from last season who scored a worldie goal by an England international.
Yes, we were better in the first half but i thought we looked organised throughout and tried to pass the ball as much as we could.
We clearly need a couple of new attacking options but i am very optimistic with Mannings start.
Random question, but when does a player who played for England twice a while ago stop being an england international? I would imagine he isn't going to get any more caps for a good few years

He was decent on Saturday I thought.
I missed the 2nd half unfortunately, so can't comment on that. Everytime I see him play, his standard stuff is to get the ball, run directly into a defender and then lose the ball

Downsey's post-match analysis is making my brain bleed

I’ve had a guts full of Mehmeti now. Offers absolutely f all for me. Cornick is ok coming on when we are defending a lead but he is woeful when we need a goal and a spark.
what a dreadful second half performance against a Southampton side who have good players but are underperforming due to their crap manager
Yeh reluctantly agree. I thought he would come good with a bit of time. Every time he gets the ball, you want him to do something meaningful but it never happens. Very frustrating player to watch and I doubt he's going to make it unfortunately

Dickie's had a decent game so far. Defending and bringing the ball forward
-
Kane on at half time I should imagine
-
Hard on Lewis. Maguire deserved to give the penalty away.
It's been a pretty turgid performance so far. Too many misplaced passes, slow build up play.

Promising start, but so bloody frustrating.
