Just had a quick look, a very wide variety of opinion from 'it's happening, let's think of the new stadium name' right through to 'so many previous disappointments'.

Maybe that could be the stadium name then, the So Many Previous Disappointments Stadium.

    The stadium of shite

Speaking as someone who already watches all City league games via RobinsTV at what works out for under £4 per game, it will be interesting to see what the charge for the DAZN service will be and whether that will mean an end to RobinsTV, IPTV etc.

Costs are ultimately what deter most fans from actually attending and opting to watch on TV. As several have mentioned this might result in clubs having to lower admission prices to avoid a fall in attendances. For me, taking into account fuel and parking charges, a full price admission matchday means forking out about £50. These days I only go down to discounted entry price cup games, not shown on streams. For me, and mates doing the same, only if we were really pushing for promotion would we be prepared to start paying our £50 a time to attend league games to soak up the atmosphere.

Overall I think attendances would take a modest hit, say 10% drop, unless clubs lower prices, as this service will have a wider audience than RobinsTV and the like.

I'd add geography as another big reason why people watch the matches on RobinsTV. I haven't lived in Bristol for many years now and while I try and get back for a couple of matches a season, I was very happy when RobinsTV started as I could watch all the matches and support the club financially too.

One big doubt I have (that someone else mentioned on the thread): will the club get more money from this than they do from the current setup? If so, ok. If all the matches from every club are available, it would be nice to catch the occasional game from other teams, but it also would sting a bit knowing that the money I'm paying goes as much to the gas, Cardiff and Swindon as it does to City.

This is one of the worst 25 minutes of football I’ve ever seen. What on earth has happened since the Man City game? We can’t pass the ball 5 yards. Every single player has been shocking. Painful watch.

Can’t pass. Second to each ball. Flat footed. Disjointed. Losing every aerial challenge. Every 50/50. Even our kit doesn’t match.

Apart from that we look decent.

you didn't watch the last match then?

It’s struck me at todays game just how much progress Nige has made since he took over having to rebuild  the cub  pretty much from scratch and all the while reducing the wage bill.

We see City sitting 13th in the Championship table just 9 points outside the pray offs with 13 games to go and putting in some decent performances along the way.

The squad is motivated and certainly have bought into Nige’s way, are showing 100% commitment all over the pitch leaving nothing out there on the final whistle. Things are finally looking good after several seasons of mediocre management both on and off the pitch

I’m sure we’d all love a push for the top six - just what we need to keep us all enthusiastically checking other Championship results and league table.

When I listen to Nige pre and post match he genuinely impresses me with his candour and obvious deep knowledge of what it takes to build a successful club - he really is a proper manager who is applying his skills and knowledge of the industry to improve our club. I think we’re lucky to have him as our manager.

Today wasn’t a great game but City managed to come away with three points when not playing that well - a defiant good sign.

Tuesday eve we have a lucrative fixture against Man City at a sold out AG live on TV which obviously raises Bristol City's profile  nationally but to me the result is largely irrelevant with the league being the number 1 priority.

That said…….the FA cup is known for its upsets so you just never know…………:cool2:

Good post and exciting times ahead, but you misspelt 'play offs'
