  1. That bloke on ITV commentating on the last Euros was pretty annoying
  2. When was the last time? Luke Wilkshire was technically still a city player at 2006 World Cup with Australia
  3. You must have missed the 2-0 and 4-0 wins against Germany and Ukraine respectively in the Euros. Just out of interest, did you count Capello as a 'proper' manager? He won several league titles + a European cup, but had England playing some of the most rubbish football I've ever seen. Southgate on the other hand got us to a semi-final and a final. No matter what you think of the football, I was pretty happy to see us competing at the latter end of a tournament for once
  4. This part made me laugh: Sounds like a petulant teenager...
  5. He's got to be on the pitch to take set pieces tho. He won't start ahead of Rice, Bellingham and possibly Phillips and Henderson, so he will likely have very limited opportunities to show off his free kicking abilities
  6. Add Brentford - a team that were more or less our level for many years, and are now yet another club who have steamed ahead of us
  7. On the bright side - next time I make a mistake in 5-a-side, I won't feel so bad
  8. Fun question! At the moment, I'd go for: Oasis - Definitely Maybe Massive Attack - Blue Lines Boards of Canada - Geogaddi Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works 85-92 Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf
  9. Pearson clearly rates him and to be fair, I think we have bigger priorities to fill in the squad
  10. Totally agree. Strange he hasn't played more, considering how good he was last season. Judging by his comments at the fans forum, Pearson rates Dasilva but Pring could do a job at left sided CB
  11. Agreed about Williams, but they should have had a free kick - just outside the box, and our defending from set pieces this season hasn't been the best. It would have been harsh on Atkinson, but also could have been given. It definitely seems we've had more decisions. But in any case, cracking performance from the lads so far - not trying to take anything away from that!
  12. Williams was definitely a handball, but it looked just outside the area
  13. If we do end up winning this, I think West Brom fans are rightfully going to be pretty p'eed off with the referee. A couple of fairly blatant handballs
  14. Can we just have a team of 11 Atkinson's? He's been excellent today
  15. Bentley's the better keeper, and our defensive problems are far deeper than who's between the post in any case
  16. Get Pring on, see what happens! Lovely layoff from Semenyo too
  17. Totally agreed. Pring was one of the big positives from last season. Ridiculous he's not playing
