Have to say I had my reservations about the stadium. But we were quite far back and the view was excellent IMO. It was good to watch the game from a different viewpoint. And the City fans were excellent and loud. Great day 

What a feeling when we equalised. The players and fans were excellent today

My interpretation is simply that this is their version of “safe standing”, and what we should expect to find in the away end on Sunday.

If it is as you say, I also don’t understand why West Ham would have this rail when other stadiums with an equally high rake don’t.

Edit - this article appears to support my theory. The headline refers to “safe standing” and then talks about the addition of a rail.

I booked that area to specifically stand, as I do at Ashton Gate. I see it as exactly the same

First team squad for me. Will be above our other academy players that have made the bench IMO. 

Never understood the don’t mind if City lose quotes. 9k city fans going Sunday won’t be going with that mindset. And the players certainly won’t be.
