  1. I currently have a championship manager 4 save going. Won division 2 in my first season and currently 2nd in division 1, about 8 games into my second season. You should see the players on my shortlist that I’ll add when I’ve got the funds.

I also have a save going from 2015 with a few familiar names picked up cheap along the way.BEB159D0-8083-4077-8910-285411AE0284.thumb.jpeg.7b60f2d255052d995635c7aab68a3aae.jpeg

not a fan of the newer versions too much faffing involved, press conferences every two minutes, players constantly moaning barely get to actually play any matches and when I don’t get much time to play them anyway it’s pointless sitting there for an hour and playing one game.

Pretty sure I’ve had these saves going for at least 18 months and might find the time to do an hour or two every couple of weeks.

  2. So ready the evening post article about their new state of the art screen 😂 it’s intended to be put on a platform over the south west stand and the platform will then act as the roof to the stand?!.

I get confused with the dozens of stands they have but isn’t that the corner bit between their new stand and awful hospitality stand (where sideshow bob was bored to tears a few years back) seems a weird place to put a screen surely

  3. Ladies and gents I give you fans mock up of what they think could be built and they are creaming their pants in the comments.

a lot have mentioned it needs a corner added to join the incredible new south stand, another has claimed the thatchers end (which I believe to be their shed behind the goal) will be a two tiered stand with seating on top and safe standing on the bottom, I’m imagining that shitty old stand at griffin park 😂.

this just confirms how deluded they are to think they need two tiered stand and the corners filled in.

  4. The examples they’ve given for the price per game are for the most expensive tickets, surely you would choose the cheapest examples to show the best “value” (loosely used).

Or better yet give the price per game for each pricing tier like city do.

They really are amateurs all around. Looks like a lot (a few) have kicked off over the huge increase in season tickets but then you get the sheep that actually believe the increase will go towards funding a better stadium. Amazing how so many of them still believe all the bollocks they are fed season after season 😂

Strange signing for a record fee? A L2 player who 18 months ago was playing in the National league, after being released by 2 separate championship clubs.

This could either be a very shrewd highlighting of talent, or he struggles straight away?

Likes a yellow card so will fit in at the swamp. Suspended by the end of Feb. Market value of 285k so looks like they’re paying over the odds for him 😂

No, I think you are right, I said in an earlier post that they would never admit it, but there are floating fans like students and people working in the area that will just go for their football fix.

It's not like they priced it to compete either, wasn't a seat in their new stand about the same as walk up ticket to our game?

I don’t know why but something came up on my twitter feed about their tickets. For their next game adults £36, 65+ and under 18s £32 and u14s £20. For league 1 football watching in that dive of a stadium is absurd.

someone commented that there were Bath city fans going to their game but went to City instead coz it was cheaper.

  7. The WBA game in Feb 99 was another huge blow to our survival, two bad injuries to key players in Bell and Testetimanu (both leg breaks iirc) and then to add insult to the injuries they equalised in something like the 98th min for a 2-2 draw.

I was 13 at the time in that stand and I haven’t liked WBA since and still haven’t seen us win up there.

  8. It’s not difficult to defend against us, 95% of our goals come from balls down the side and crosses between the six yard box and penalty spot, our goals are nearly always tap ins. Once a team has sussed how to defend that then we run out of ideas but still persist with the same type of “Arsenal” goals.

You relied on acts of charity from former players and creditors foregoing payment in 1982. Both are supreme acts of tinpottery which proved your inability to manage your own financial affairs.

And it must be a different Bristol City whose mascot got involved with a brawl with Wolves's mascot in a 6-1 reversal at Ashton Gate; or whose players were sentenced to prison for a violent street brawl; or when you went from division one to division four in successive seasons; or whose yobs violently attacked Rovers fans in front of the Sky cameras and chased their manager and players from the pitch after a last-minute equalizer. And so on......

It wasn’t even the City mascot you plum, coldseal pigs and the wolves mascot.

So do you believe that your own club should have sacked Bradley Orr, David Partridge and Steve Brooker after they were sentenced to prison for their role in a drunken brawl?

Please don't pretend that you are in a position of moral authority on this.

I’m not and have never have condoned what happened however, one drunken moment with and let’s face it bouncers that are always looking for a fight. Is miles away from a long list, over 20 years at least of beating people up, betting and stubbing cigars out in 20 yr olds eyes whilst dressed as a paedophile (tbf that come out much later).

There wouldn't be a BRFC without them. It is that simple.

After Hayles was sold, Holloway put together the Cureton-Roberts partnership, which was one of the most feared strike forces in lower league football.

You spent 250k of the £2m Hayles fee on Roberts, Cureton was at your club before even Hayles was there so you didn’t used that money on him, like you’re eluding to.

One of the most feared strike forces, and yet never fired you to promotion.

Also what happened the Roberts transfer fee of £2m?. In the space of 2-3 seasons you received approx £4m (hell of a lot of money in the late 90s/early00s for a div 2 team) for two players, you should have been getting promoted easily with that sort of money available, probably could have blown our transfer budget out of the water with that tbf.

    Or

Are you saying that you were so poorly financially run back then that those fees saved your club? With regard to your comment without Dunford there would be no club. Or, you fine financially but the money just disappeared and you weren’t milked by Dunford or whoever?.

Interesting you have to go back 25-30 years to make your tinpot claim about city, whereas we just have to go back 25-30 minutes to see you tinpot mugs about scoring a last minute winner in the third league game of the season.

So, would like to expand on your thoughts on crimes against women considering I wasn’t referring to the scum Barton? Or is it getting too personal for you? ?

Not just crimes against women though, Barton’s list is bigger than hot airs IQ. Banned from football for betting in matches he was involved (still lost those bets ?) stubbing a cigar out in youth players eye, etc etc.

So upset about where a wealthy person chooses to live but doesn’t care about Barton’s actual real crimes.
