  1. Glad I popped along with my two gas head mates. Nice bit of limbs when Yate scored and even better to actually see the home side win a game for a change. Went to 2-3 Yate games last season before the season was cancelled, always a good laugh and able to have a drink watching the game, except because it was the fa cup there was “no” pitch side drinking last night but where there’s a will there’s a way ?

just under 1000 at Lodge road could be looking at an extra 500 on top of that next game, waiting to see what the ticketing situation is for Yeovil bow.

The only time I went was when both teams were in League 1 a few seasons ago. There was little home attendance & I'm sure the away fans outnumbered the home ones?

11vs11 says 11,888 which I’m pretty sure there was 3,300-3,600 of us there so just over a third of the attendance but it sounded like there was a lot more of us than cov there

  3. Watford away around 2010 on a Tuesday or Wednesday don’t think city had a shot the whole game, lost 2-0 and to top it off my car got locked in the shopping centre car park and had to pay £25 to get it released.

    and

Rovers in the jpt when lambert scored that goal they all cream over. I was in the rovers end with a gashead mate.

  4. Looking at the state the gas are in now, I am very thankful to my dad (born and raised in the northville area) when a kid in the 60’s and 70s decided not to trek down muller rd to eastville and instead when he went with my grandad to visit his aunt in Southville (carrying on the ville theme ?) he would go down to the gate on his own instead. I owe my dad a lot for his sensible decision making.

living in Yate I know a few gas heads who were not so fortunate (although they all seem to have a second club, can’t imagine why).

here’s to all the people that made the sensible decision of going to the Gate instead of Eastville, twerton and the cabbage patch ?

INMO we were playing OK, not sitting deep...so it's really frustrating (even if they deserved something from this match honestly).

So much work thrown away in an action.Shame.

Being sat along the 25 yard area in the dolman I can confirm we did sit back and got deeper and deeper. Could clearly see when Luton got the ball around halfway the defence dropped to our 18 yard line and the midfield (bar Massengo) dropped to 20 yards.

enjoy Massengo this season guys because there is no way we’re keeping him beyond next summer, far too good for us.

Ill let you know when they lose to Yate town tomorrow, for my sins i live in Yate so will be popping along for a drinking session with some gashead mates. Should be some comedy on display.

Season Ticket holding non-Gas supporters were they?  The tickets didn't get past Priority Group 1 ;-)

An old boss of mine went with his brother and someone else, guarantee he isn't a st holder, never mentioned being a gashead when I used to work with him, was a follower of Liverpool then.

We were a bit soft in every tackle though :(

True but once the game got on we started tackling a lot better and getting stuck in. Just a shame refs give freekicks one way and dont give it the other for the exact same foul.

Also thought foster looked awful, 1st game of season but still. He should be nowhere near going to france next summer
