It really couldn`t have been a worse set of results today bar Brum losing at the death and Ipswich beating Argyle.

I always remember Danny Baker many years ago saying he preferred an end of season relegation scrap than playing teams in the last few games for the privilege of finishing 14th. Not sure I agree with him mind!

15 for the season now. It just shows how much difference there is between the Championship and League 1 IMO.

Thank God Leeds equalized at Hudds. They would have been on 40 if they`d held on.

And Brum back in front. This has the makings of a disastrous day.

And now Stoke and QPR are both bloody winning as well. Saints have equalised at Brum though so a small crumb of comfort.

I recall feeling very old a few years back watching FGR on Sky when Mark Cooper was manager there and brought on his son a a sub. For the first time I was watching the grandson of a player I saw play.

I went to,Ninian Park, The Vetch, Elm Park, The Manor Ground, The Goldstone Ground, The Dell, Layer Road, MK Hockey Stadium, The County Ground (Northampton), Belle Vue, Millmoor, Ayresome Park, Roker Park, Feethams, Bootham Crescent, Saltergate, Griffin Park, The Old Den, Highbury, Upton Park, Highfield Road, The Baseball Ground, Victoria Park, Eastville, Springfield Park, Burnden Park, Gigg Lane (not sure if Bury still play there), Gay Meadow, Maine Road, Fellows Park, Sealand Road, Somerton Park, The Old Show Ground. There`s probably one or two I`ve forgotten too.

I`m surprised that a certain strapped-for-cash local league one side hasn`t offered their `stadium` for rent.

Bloody funny though. They aren`t as famuzzzzz as they think they are and no-one except them reckons anything to that dirge that they seem to think is something special.

And, just like most other relegated sides, will start tonking everyone else.
