I still prefer Nige, but was prepared to give Manning time, but his League record is totally shocking. I guess he won’t/can’t be sacked this season but after first ten matches of next if he can’t drastically improve his record he needs to go, along with BT. i see the buffers in sight at the end of the Championship track., after that I see only darkness, my friends.

I am now feeling sorry for Manning in the same way I felt sorry for Nige. Neither has been given a strong enough squad for this league, to achieve what the owners still maintain they want. This dates back, in recent times, to Cotts not being backed in our first season back in The Championship. It is all so predictable. Manning like Nige is left trying to make silk purses out of sows’s ears.

Everyone is welcome to their opinion but play those two next season and we certainly won’t advance beyond mid table. It is not that O’Leary is accident prone but the nature of his mistakes snd his failure to improve. I stand by my comment on Wells. He has had one good striker’s season in his career, quite away back now, and he simply isn’t the player we bought. Time for realism over both players if we really are serious about top six next season.

Re Max. No we are not. Many of us have felt from the beginning he was far too error prone. Worse than Gibson imo on that score.

Sorry but O’Leary is too accident prone. We have needed a goalie for more than a season now. Good goal from Wells but still think he is finished at this level. So back to start of transfer window when many of us wanted a play maker, which we now have in Twine, altho on loan and injured, another goalie, and a striker. Still missing two signings in my opinion

Oh so typical of City. Injuries which all clubs have, seem worse for us because of our thing squad, and add in now the build up of games, my optimism after cup games is evaporating fast. We need points if Manning is going to deliver on target set him. Come on City play a blinder tonight and confound all of us worriers with three points.
