Sorry but O’Leary is too accident prone. We have needed a goalie for more than a season now. Good goal from Wells but still think he is finished at this level. So back to start of transfer window when many of us wanted a play maker, which we now have in Twine, altho on loan and injured, another goalie, and a striker. Still missing two signings in my opinion

Oh so typical of City. Injuries which all clubs have, seem worse for us because of our thing squad, and add in now the build up of games, my optimism after cup games is evaporating fast. We need points if Manning is going to deliver on target set him. Come on City play a blinder tonight and confound all of us worriers with three points.

There is bound to be a period of adjustment. This is particularly so with a quality player, which I believe he is. We have seen all this before. He did score a good goal and we haven’t been scoring enough. Hope we bring in another out and out striker, but I shan’t be holding my breath.

But I wonder if it just might be the whole nonsense of BS putting potential football investors off. Just a thought

If you cannot see the danger that Bristol Sport has placed City in, then you will never understand the legitimate concerns of others. Let alone concerns over the lack of a proper Board, and failure to bring in other investors, etc, etc.

Thought this for many a long year. Some serious expenditure in GJ’s play off final. season could have seen us through, imo. Remember when Cotts gained promotion and was left high and dry in The Championship. It was said at the time he had done too well too quickly for SL’s taste. i have zero confidence that they will guide the club to The Prem. If LM is successful, as I hope he will be, he will be jettisoned like Cotts and Nige. There commitment or otherwise to LM and their supposed promotion dream will become more obvious in this and the summer window
