Slightly to add to that, I thought Cotterill would be great for motivation and PR. I have to confess that I think I underestimated him. He's done a good job with the squad SOD left him. The only question now is whether he can do a long term job. Only time will tell. Having ignored NickJ, it may seem ironic that I praise SC so lavishly, but then I care about BCFC, not about scoring points on OTIB.

Immense performance tonight, and Cotterill deserves a lot of the credit. In particular, for knowing how to use JET and Baldock, and for knowing that you need to keep an attacking threat even when you're defending a 1 goal lead with ten men.

Forwards, by and large, do their own thing, regardless of managers. Defenders have to work together to a plan, under the guidance of a manager. If you change the manager every six months, the forwards will still score, but the defence will be chaotic. Obvious, I'd have thought.
