  1. Grange Park Frenchay, I believe, and his daughter went to Chipping Sodbury Grammar School.
  2. Keep us posted please. I also ordered a boot bag and bottle for my grandson around the same time as you placed your order. No conformation email, though it was showing on my rewards page that I had traded my points for these items. Now, of course, the rewards page has gone!
  3. Absolutely magical sprint finish. G working for Cav who smashed it.?? Brilliant, and makes up for yesterday's disappointment.?
  4. Indeed, I'm gutted. But he lost time to the better rider on the day. Not sure how he might have put more time into Roglic on any of the previous stages. It was a great performance from G. Just not quite good enough.
  5. Good result to end the season on. We played some decent passing football as well ?
  6. I think it would be a good addition to the squad and I don't imagine Tins would give too much away to the Senior Reds, unless he thought we wouldn't remember any of it because of our age!?
  7. That's what I was thinking, but I didn't want to shatter the hopes of many on here ?. But who knows, Tins and NP may be making an exception if Joe actually is coming back.
  8. He's the guest speaker at this month's Senior Reds luncheon.
  9. I very much doubt it. Tins said at Senior Reds that we wouldn't be looking for another GK.
  10. I noticed that and thought it was pretty poor of him. He seemed to take great delight in the celebrations at the time at achieving the double, in what was a fantastic season.
  11. SL seems to blame the pandemic for the financial situation we were in rather than profligate spending under Ashton and Johnson.
  12. Tubular Bells, Mike Oldfield. although Viv Stanshall does speak to name few instruments.
  13. You are way more knowledgeable than me regarding the academy players, but I do recognise that he mentioned several of the names you list. If we can continue to help youngsters to break into the first team in the way we have this season then the future looks promising. ?
  14. One other point is that he said we now have a firm wage structure which we will stick to and won't be changed and said that we already pay more than clubs such as Millwall, Luton, Coventry and PNE who are in and around the playoffs. There will be no wasteful spending sprees like we saw a few years ago by you know who. He couldn't bring himself to mention Ashton's name ?
  15. I very much got the impression that Tins thought some more academy players might be being considered ready for the first team next season at some point. Which would obviously add to the ones that are likely to be brought in.
  16. Perhaps I should have added "unless the need arises" Tins gave the impression that adding another GK was not something they were looking at. NP and the coaching staff know best, I guess ?
  17. Well Ian did get in the first round of questions ?, I thought Tins dealt with them very diplomatically, answered in full and gave nothing away ? Tins hinted that if Alex goes it will be for more than the sum presently being talked about. But who knows ? Said 3 or 4 likely to be incoming, young pacy talent from the lower leagues will be the targets. Not looking at any older experienced targets. Unlikely to add another GK. And didn't not make any comments about players leaving, apart from Alex, (for big money it seems.) Also confirmed plenty of promising talent coming up through the academy, several of whom are already training with the first team. Said NP very keen on giving academy players every chance of breaking into the first team if they are good enough. Not keen on loans as it's merely developing players for other clubs to profit from, as Chelsea did with Tammy.
  18. Tinman, guest speaker at Senior Reds today, seemed to be of the opinion that Bournemouth staying up would be of financial benefit to us.
  19. Mehmeti seems to have lost the ability/confidence to get past his marker. He looked on fire when he first joined us.
  20. We've definitely improved, but still a long way from being a real threat. Too wasteful in the final third
  21. I was gutted to miss this one. I had been to the majority of away games that season, but having just been to up to Deepdale on the Saturday, I followed the "advice" from my dearest and was persuaded not to make another long journey.? I was obviously delighted about the result, but less so about not being there!
  22. JD completes another promising run with another wayward pass
