Not always. Experienced players set standards to the younger players. Something we never had under DH or LJ. King was brought in for this number one reason in my view. It’s helped rid laziness and players who hide in changing rooms at the training ground.

Zak has done well to get to the level he has and the hardwork and development under Pearson has come to fruition. I was one calling for him to be released and felt he was a league one player at best. However, he has proved himself a championship defender in my book. But not one that will help us take us to the next level. He is extremely casual at times and does have a mistake in him to lose the ball more than once in a game. Again, if we’re serious about challenging for the top 6. We would need an upgrade on Zak.

It will be. However I feel the club (JL and BT) see King as part of the Pearson setup. I think we all know they would like all traces of Pearson removed.

Manning will go nowhere anytime soon if things don’t go well. BT and JL will do what they can to justify their position to remove NP and to hire LM. In this case, back him with money to make the signings in order to make it work… all sound familiar? I’m not convinced by Manning as I’ve stated previously and do feel we will put ourselves in a position come the time we will need an experienced head to come in and steady the ship. Round the track we go ago. Whatever happens come the end of the season. Fans should not forget what JL and BT have done and stated. Therefore should continue to be accountable for this seasons outcome.

Embarrassing & tin pot. As said above, sums up our non existent history and success rate. We will be here come 2047 and celebrate with Joe Bryan and Korey Smith?

Odds on Lee Johnson? Seems like a perfect fit with Dale

Poll on the Lansdowns - Stay or Go?

That’s actually a very good point. Just shows we do not have any real history of success and makes us still look rather tinpot and underachievers. -
David Silva was class too. Definitely up there. KDB is just another level however.

Heard the same but thought that cannot be true. Up Stanley Park?

In fact quite the opposite for me. We are built more on engine and guts…or were due to the hard work of Pearson and team. Unfortunately that only gets you so far. You do need real talent and intelligence in order to get to the PL. But with that, you also need to be prepared to invest.

Lee Johnson will be there come the time they’re in the National League. Seems the type the owner would appointment and like

KDB is the best midfielder in PL history. Better than Scholes, Gerrrard, Lampard etc.
-
Gone backwards under Manning. Wasnt perfect under Pearson by no stretch of the imagination. But NP knew how to utilise the squad. Manning so far, appears to not know how to. Which is why I’m still not convinced by his appointment.

Speaks better than Clinton Morrison.

Possibly Forest Green Rovers next if they end up in National League. Apart from that, cannot see another football league side touch him.

Do wonder if Mehmeti along with Bell would benefit a loan spell in League One. -

Can see why they’re excited by Donovan. -
Sam is a good man. Worked as a fireman at one point for Trowbridge Fire Service whilst also playing for Chippenham Town at the time. Wish him all the best. Thoroughly deserved.
