  1. Cardiff at home next who picked up 3 points today. Lose that game and it’s going to be even more horrific than tonight. Not sure what leg Manning then has to stand on.
  2. It’s becoming apparent Manning was the wrong appointment and I’m very much now in the camp of wishing Manning was gone. With that, I’d wish JL and BT admit they’ve got it wrong and would remove Manning and his coaching staff now. However, we know that isn’t going to happen. The club will throw money at Manning to support the decision that removing Pearson, who had been one of the popular managers here. Was indeed the right decision and try to prove the fans wrong. Manning won’t go anywhere unless things go real south. He will be here for another year or two, money will be thrown about to defend the appointment. We will end up on a financial tightrope again. Experienced head comes in to steer the ship. Rinse and repeat. The Lansdown way.
  3. Almost a 3rd for Wednesday Couldn’t complain if we conceded again. We would deserve it.
  4. Wednesday have done well to sit back first 10 minutes to absorb our “attack” now they’re on the front foot. Back to levels from first half.
  5. What a guy. Wishing the best of luck for him. Should be proud of himself.
  6. I had this conversation a few years ago with a friend of mine based in the US who has a PhD in Exercise Science. He couldn’t get over the lack of strengthening our football players do not do in order to protect their hamstrings. He understands how important pace is in the game, but feels our footballers would benefit a lot more by bullet proofing their hamstrings with further strength and conditioning. They’re not Olympic sprinters after all. I also shown him some of City’s strength and conditioning workouts that had been posted on YouTube from pre seasons. Again, he was surprised on the execution of exercises and couldn’t believe how poorly they were being setup and performed by our players. Which I imagine happens across a lot of professional football clubs.
  7. And that is what the Lansdown’s want. We are simply a cosy club. We will not shake off that tag until under new ownership.
  8. Mods - please feel free to delete as I did not see the other topic already in flight.
  9. Reported Neil Harris is set to rejoin Millwall as Manager on an 18 month deal. Harris is currently manager of Cambridge United who currently sit 17th in League One. Hardly an inspiring appointment for Millwall. Who are now dancing with relegation themselves.
  10. I think we will be having somewhat similar conversation next season being in a very similar league position and being consistently inconsistent.
  11. Let’s hope they don’t start cutting holes in their shorts
  12. Tuchel must be close to getting the push.
  13. The shirts nice, don’t get me wrong. But it’s another move making us look tinpot and embarrassing yet again.
  14. Good keeper at this level. Not bad, not amazing.
  15. Please keep a clean sheet to make the night even better!
  16. Well done Mehmeti. Given some stick but good play for that.
