Possibly being naive here here, but I really can't see why there should be any notable problem at the entrances today - proving the tickets scan properly.!

It'll be fine and within 3 games people will be wondering why we didnt do this sooner.

very weak and pathetic statement/‘explanation’, that, from whoever gave it

Like it was written by a pissed off child (Jon?)

Also "We are aware of an issue around the collar sizing on a small batch of 2023/24 home shirts," City added. "In some instances the collar opening was too large. Should you feel you have bought an affected shirt please come into the Ashton Gate Store and our retail staff will be able to confirm if your shirt is affected and offer a replacement."

They were still flogging shit with this collar last week. Im assuming they knew about it and sold it anyway.

I had to phone up today (I started the call at 11.30) as they had sent through my season ticket by email but not my sons.

I was no27 in the queue when I first got on and it took me 1hr 17 to get through

But yes very helpful WHEN I eventually go through ?

They've got an impossible job TBF. I can't even imagine some of the old codgers they've got phoning up trying to understand it ?

Most of us under 35 have tried to explain changing a hdmi to our parents. I had to try and explain this to my old man and it was hell

Apologies if I've missed this but the ticket I have seemingly has no bar code or anything, just a red ticket with name on, is this the same for everyone else?

It's not a barcode. It's a digital ticket like paying with your debit card on your phone.

You'll dab it on top of the machine instead of in-between scanning a ticket

I pay for my SC every season along with thousands of others - so we’re all irrelevant?

If you don't care or buy about the kit then commercially yes. The club know it has a percentage of older fans who buy their season ticket every year and that's it. Nothing else they do is aimed at you and they wouldn't waste their time or research trying.

Couldn’t agree more. Literally irrelevant and I can never understand why fully grown adults buy and wear replica kits. Why not go the whole hog and wear the full kit with your socks pulled up. You’re not playing so why dress up like you might get subbed on

Is this what old people think when they see someone in a football top? ?

This lecture is quite unnecessary GR - I’m fully aware of the commercial importance to any football club, not just City.

However, you are missing my point made from a 50+ year City fan who’s seen pretty much everything before, including numerous kit releases none of which have had the slightest impact on me and that remains the same now.

It’s of absolutely zero interest to me who manufactured this season’s kit.

The club don't give a **** about fans like you commercially, they have your money every season for a season ticket and a few drinks and are fine with it.

A large percentage of the fan base do give a shit about the kit be it people who buy it or people who are into that side of football mainly because teams like us have tried to make it fashionable and cool.

I think the whole kit cost £27 and most kids would not care about the badge but I see where your coming from regarding quality of the badge

If you're paying £27 for a copy you're getting mugged right off. Its £16 from China and whoever is selling it is adding a tenner on and drop shipping it

The problem is the quality being produced, the dangling chilli and Splatt... And the deafening silence coming out of Ashton Gate regarding this mess.

Which is why its 100% JL behind it all. Most professional outfits would have release something by now but he's a coward who has a job way beyond his means and has no idea how to deal with it.

The fact the rugby lot are also now stitched-up with O’Neils’ rubbish makes me think the deal will be for longer than any of us would like.
I’ve said before that the only logical reason for this is that we’ve driven them down to a ridiculously low cost.. and the “quality” reflects this.

    Bring back Bukta!!!!! ?

    Its deffo 2 reasons

We make the most % out of kits sold compared to other manufacturers so they have ****** us on quality
JL is allowed to dictate his shit designs and ideas and they nod along to it
